Man killed, woman wounded in shooting on Chicago Skyway

Were just not safe anywhere in the Chicago area- what are the chances? So now is there a gunman loose in a black SUV randomly shooting at people. We dont have much to go on now, but if more victims come forth, we have a serious problem.

A man was killed and a woman wounded in a shooting in the outbound lanes of the Chicago Skyway on the Southeast Side on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

A man in his 20s was dead on the scene and a 23-year-old woman was shot in the arm, according to police sources.

The man was driving with his girlfriend when they were shot by someone in a black SUV, the sources said.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m., fire officials said. The outbound Skyway was shut down while the shooting was investigated, according to state and city transportation officials.

Authorities said that before the shooting occurred the people from both vehicles had prior contact.

now we know that they had contact with each other, so it could have been a fight between lovers and the new one boy friend, could be drug related, could be a number of reasons that two people that knew each other started fighting or shooting.

i think it is safe to say that it's not a random shooting.

being that it's Chicago and the number of shootings that take place there, i think chances are higher that the shooter and victims knew each other in some sort of way.
