So, i am depressed again.

Usually I listen to either depressing music and let myself flow in self pity or
I turn it around and listen to epic battle music.

You know, the kind of music you want to hear when you stand next to you amazonians, or spartans or whatever and get ready for battle.
Epicness, pathos dedictation i am looking for.

The battle is metaphorical. I am a peaceful warrior. still a warrior.

You get the direction. Post on, what are your favourites?

something like

and this one, which is filled with motivational quotes from Rocky, Arnie, CT Fletcher et al:

Post on. Let's start the metaphorical batlle on battle music!

"I’m trying to call on all the Gods of power. Hercules, Apollo, Atlas, come on motha f***as! I need your ass!” -CT fletcher

I love epic battle music.
My teenage daughter introduced me to it last year and I'm hooked.
My favorite composers are
Two Steps from Hell
They do a lot of game trailer music, so you have probably heard them.

Two steps from hell! how could i start a thread on epic battle music without mentioning them?!
Shame on me

I love the second one you posted: United we stand, divided we fall.

I made my cat listen to it, it became a tiger!

2steps also did (parts) of the "300" soundtrack:

Yeah, Hatebreed, have not heard them in a long long time!

I think i even seen them live, did'nt they tour with Sick of it all back in the early 90ies?

Gosh, Sick of it all that was some live energy!

Now i wish to be young again, in the middle of a mosh pit.

Thanks for posting!

Did some tube search, Sick of it all live 1994 i think that was the tour i ve been to - still have a little scar from some doc martens on my forehead from that concert :-)

Here you go - a motivational battle song. Woodkid's a bit unusual, but imagine running into battle while this is playing. Heading for the enemy line, fearing not for yourself, only to victory.

And...Something for when the battle is at it's peak, and you need something to focus on; a spark of light to bring you peace in the middle of war.

And now, the time for the final push has come - March onward to victory with one of the most well-known Two Steps From Hell songs ever!

As always I didn't create the music, but I do recommend you buy it
