Tread Softly
Tread softly, for this is my heart,
I don't give it freely to all I meet.
I keep it guarded, from ones who aren't,
Worthy, who present only lies and deceit.
Be gentle with it, for it's the only gift,
That I have to give to someone like you.
The only thing I have that is worthy and if,
You break it I could no longer give it anew.
Believe
I believe in you, I know you can do it,
Whatever it is you wish to do.
I've seen all the things you've had to deal with,
I've witnessed your falls, seen you pull through.
You've been pushed down so many times,
And never failed to get back up.
Walked through darkness and came out alive,
Working your way back to the top.
You amaze me how you walk so tall,
When others are trying to drag you down.
So confident, like they don't matter at all,
You sing your own tune, and it's a sweet sound.
So keep going! It'll all work out in the end,
You're too strong to let your dreams fade.
Don't listen to the haters, don't listen to them,
They know nothing, don't believe what they say.
Thanks,
