Since I am accused of bashing him:

Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and his wife have been funneling campaign donations as well as nonprofit funds to family members and friends. The money benefitted his wife, step-daughter, and the son of a former colleague whom he described as a close friend, according to The Washington Free Beacon. Sanders, who describes himself as a democratic socialist, is basing his presidential campaign on, among other things, combating income inequality and government corruption. The Free Beacon reported: Following 16 years as a member of the House, Sanders was elected to the Senate in 2006. His political campaigns were an early vehicle for payments to his family members. According to Jane O’Meara Sanders, the senator’s wife, Sanders’ House campaigns paid her more than $90,000 for consulting and ad placement services from 2002 to 2004. She pocketed about $30,000 of that money. Her daughter Carina Driscoll, Sanders’ stepdaughter, also drew a salary from the campaign. She was paid more than $65,000 between 2000 and 2004, according to her mother. After working for the campaign, the senator’s wife would come under scrutiny for expenditures at Burlington College, where she was hired as president in 2004. While she led the school, it paid six-figure sums to her daughter and the son of a family friend. At about this same time the son of a very close friend and former colleague purchased a Bahamian resort and then began receiving checks totaling $68,000 from Burlington College for the “all inclusive” stays of students studying abroad. The money spigot was turned off when Sanders’ wife stepped down as college president. Sanders’ conception of fighting government corruption and income inequality is apparently a selective one. They apparently apply to everyone but him.

That whole story is a big steamy pile of horse manure too!

FYI; Just because you like something you hear on the internets, doesn't make it true.

It's already been posted and discussed in TWO different threads here on ATS... yet here it is again, being used as a political hit piece.

There are details that go into Bernie's platform, it's not just "free stuff," again - details - but I digress, this round-a-bout discussion bears no meaning when asked "to what end," Bernie is probably no different than most politicians - this, I can agree on.

At least he is attempting to offer up solutions - this, I can agree on. Solutions that will benefit generations of Americans to come, not "just us," like so many imply.

The same people who are rallying against "the establishment," and supporting Trump for his positions, have no quarrel with things such as the TPP and ALEC.

In a global market, how does one expect the United States to compete with countries that have a minimum wage at $0.67/hr, which is roughly (iirc) the min. wage of Malaysia. Hence, outsourcing jobs - hence, EMPLOYERS, hiring illegal immigrants.

Vote for who you think is best for your country, but please, man - stop spreading ridiculous exaggerations that have already been debunked. Do yourself a favor and do a search... and again, details. Don't let the hyperbolized headline distract you from the facts.

A 25+ year Govt stooge proclaiming to be for "the little guy" is about as genuine as gold painted bars of lead. Worth about as much too.

Can't wait for all the Bernie followers look of dread and horror as the DNC crafts ways to exclude the old fart from being viable.

It was a valid question and a valid answer, but there's another question about the entire matter worth pursuing:

Why hasn't the media treated Bill Clinton like they have treated Bill Cosby?

While Bill Clinton was a womanizer/adulterer, according to what is known, he didn't build up relationships of trust then drug young women and rape them.

There is a difference. One is morally loose, the other is criminal.

The attack mode just solidified Trumps base.

The same thing will happen for Sanders, plus get him more notoriety and more converts from the young that Trump is ignoring.

Keep it up!

imo...Trump has peaked way to early and didn't get enough traction to even finish the race.

Paying actors to cheer at your rallys...lame.

Both of them are womanizers. Cosby used drugs; Clinton used the presidency and Hillary intimidated the witnesses. Both left a trail of victimized women behind them. Both are disgusting. Cosby is guilty until proven innocent; The Clintons get a pass.

Is drugging someone and then taking advantage of them the same thing as being a womanizer? When I think of womanizer I think of some one that has the gift of the gab with woman and who is just around smooth when it comes to them. Not sure that is the same as taking the decision making process completely out of the equation for them. Not Bills fault if woman were infatuated with this power or fame. Not going to deny he didn't know that but imo quite a stretch to say it is the same as Cosby.

Right...

Having Mexicans pay for a wall to keep Mexicans in was brilliant.....lol

Imo that dumass plan illistrates perfectly Trumps grasp of reality.

Nevertheless...I am sure that Bernie Sanders is just trying to make up some ground with a little offensive strategy...the question will be whether or not he scores any blows against Hilary Clinton!

I wasn't the one spreading those ridiculous exaggerations, I was merely responding to them.

You may want to direct your ire at the butcherguy, he's the one trying to regurgitate that garbage.

Just for the record, I'm sending my money and my vote to Bernie.

You might LIKE for them to be equal in what they've done, however, legally speaking, Bill Clinton did not rape women regardless of being morally immature, at least not to anyone's knowledge. NO accusations of rape have ever been made toward him. Monica worked to seduce him - she fell in love with him - if you knew the story you would realize the ridiculousness of drawing an equivalency. Bill Clinton had other women too, if rumors are to be believed. He has never been accused of the crime of rape.

If Bill Cosby had stopped at the part where he used his fame and power to get sex from women WITH THEIR CONSENT, then perhaps they would be in the same league. He did not. He raped women in a pre-meditated, serial fashion (according to a multitude of allegations).

You don't think that if Bill Clinton had drugged and raped Monica that he would not have been impeached for breaking the law? You don't think his political opposition wouldn't have sent him all the way to jail in disgrace - and for good reason, with women on both sides of the isle cheering on his demise???

Again. The actions of these two men are NOT legally equivalent, nor morally equivalent.

The Clintons sent anyone to their doom that would not keep their mouth closed. Hence why no allegations of this subject matter EVER surfaced....and notice BC's politically correct statement that he "did not have any sexual relations with that woman"

Comes up with several names, only one easy to find is Jaunita Broderick.
Others probably in fear for their lives.

On a related note, Bernie is right on this;
Bill Clinton's actions in The Whitehouse are disgusting.

Monica was a young intern, Bill Clinton was her boss.
His actions are the definition of sexual harassment, to a T.

Hm. Well I admit to not being completely informed on the rape accusation issue. Looks like a case that can never go to trial, and one where the story isn't entirely clear, but I will give you that the accusation was made.

I think that there is a LOT that is starting to reemerge regarding Bill Clinton, and that there are very political reasons for the timing of it.

I don't think it will disappear any time soon given the political campaign. In fact, I think we should all brace ourselves for multiple retellings and "in depth" analysis, because, you know, salacious details tend to add to ratings!
