R.I.P. My very first love!
My favorite song of his,

And what made me fall in love with him as a young girl,

An earlier song of his, that I really enjoy,

Quite sadly his ex wife has been on Celebrity Big Brother in UK for past week ripping him to shreds and sharing lots of intimate details from their marriage and divorce. She seems very bitter and must have known how ill he was as they have a son together who she doesnt see. The timing of her doing this makes me think it was her last nail in the coffin to him, which if true is terrible for their son.a reply to: anxiouswens

Much love to you Mr. Bowie. Although I may have not been a big fan or anything, you are legendary and have helped to spread so much love and positivity on this planet and for that I am infinitely grateful.

We now live in a world that is a worse place than it was yesterday.

I sang Kooks to my son as a lullaby when he was little.

We will all miss him.

Wow, utterly terrible news. Just had to have my best buddy in the world put down this morning, so been in tears all day and then this news on top. Too much loss for me in one day.

Interestingly, David released a weird-kooky video about a month ago. Called Blackstar. Not sure if any of you have heard/seen it yet. But now knowing he's passed this an odd song to listen too, he must have known the cancer was bad when he wrote and performed this. I think it was his goodbye message, so many mixed things can be taken from it.

I'm tearing up, I couldn't believe it.
RIP Mr Bowie.
The new album just makes that much more sense now.
Starman, ziggy, major Tom, thin white duke, blackstar.. But the one and only Bowie.....

Seriously, I always imagine David Bowie with his giant package slinging Fushigi balls everywhere

His old music was brilliant--but I hated the new stuff.

It's crazy to think that my generation is going to witness the passing of so many legendary artists...
I don't like thinking about it, but Bowie dying just...I can't even. :/

...yeah...it was awful. I hated it. Especially the seizure dancers. They made me uncomfortable. That and the bandages and weird eye goggles. Definitely not the David Bowie I'm used to.

I was first exposed to him through Aladdin Sane in 1973, 42 years he has sustained me through his powerful music, his creativity was infinite, daring to always push the boundaries through visual panoramas.

We'll miss ya

RIP David Robert Jones 8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016
