But you and Trump supporters all ignore the facts of the rally. You all make it sound like she was causing a disruption as seen in other protests. She wasn't chanting, she wasn't holding sign, she stood up silently. That's not a disruption. A disruption comes when the Trump supporters open their mouths and make a scene. They too should have been thrown out but obviously Trump won't have any of that.

There is already too much hate happening in this world...and if we all focus on that then the more hate will come.

I like to treat others with respect as well as their opinions...but looking at the facts and staying on point will clear your head more and your thoughts are better interpreted by others.

All this political jostling around won't get anyone anywhere. To be honest, I would like to think every rally should be a fun one and every supporter (and in some cases non-supporters) get what they went there to hear.

I wonder if comments like the one you are replying to would be same if the circumstances were different. Say a Hillary Clinton rally and she threw out some person who was let's say...brandishing firearms....or protesting Benghazi?

I assume there would be a drastic difference in response.

I believe I may have misread your first post and my response was inadequate. Just noticed that.

My apologies.

Not only am I replying to posts, I'm also teaching myself to play flamenco-style guitar. I should pay more attention.

Funny you talk about Hate when that's exactly what Trump is preaching. The idiocracy of it all are the supporters who defend his hate speech again and again. When actual Neo Nazi groups fully support Trump you know there's some hate speech goin' on.

This Muslim woman was thrown out because she was Muslim who clearly opposes Trump. Hell, on her way out a supporter yelled, "You have bomb". Hatred got her thrown out, compassion would have listened to her.

There seems to be so many hecklers at campaign rallies, but then campaign season seems way too long, way too long, and too many candidates. It's a show now, not serious politics. Really, there's gold in them thar campaigns, money is made off of the campaigns, and so they go on and on and on....ad nauseum.

That said, candidates handle hecklers in different ways. I could understand some being escorted out. BUT, Trump's Vermont rally last night....Jesus! I was listening on the radio to him talking, when Bernie supporters started up. Honestly, what Trump started to say about the situation made me sick. As the police were escorting these people out, Trump yells out

“Keep his coat! Confiscate his coat! You know it’s about 10 degrees below zero outside.”

Ok, so here is someone running for POTUS advocating stealing someone's possession, and then subjecting them to cruelty!! Jack-Booted-Thug-in-Chief ready to advocate confiscation and cruelty to citizens, the ones who don't support him or his policies. And I thought that only happened in those other countries. Now I know how countries fall into this. Another step closer to understanding how Germany became fascist.

That bloviating butthead of blather demands confiscation of property and cruelty to fellow citizens. Sickening. If Trump were ever POTUS, this Muslim woman would have a lot more to worry about. As we all would.

Pardon me? She was wearing a shirt...nothing offensive, but definitely disrupted the speech one way or another.

Video to picture showing the escorting out

So it was a peaceful protest but it did aggravate a lot of the supporters. I felt bad for the couple but at the same time there is a time to protest by promoting peace against Muslims...you can be the judge of that for yourself.

Agreed. We should offer a "safe space" for the offended Trump supporters.

The point I was going to make is that when Black Lives Matter took away the mic from BS...it took away the momentum from his speech because the focus was on the two ladies...the same thing happened at the Trump rally and I am sure DT didn't want his speech thought and moment disrupted.

I think maybe if the couple waited till the end to protest for peace against Muslims then it may have been more polite to do so....but to do it in the middle of his speech kind of shows ignorance...or just them wanting to get heard. Which isn't a bad thing at all...free speech right? But there is a time and place for everything, and maybe that wasn't the right time nor the right place.

No she didn't disrupt the speech, Trump supporters caused the disruption but it's hilarious you think her shirt is the disruption! A response perfect for Trump's call to ban all Muslims.

It was the most peaceful protest you'll see now a days. White men armed with weapons taking over a federal gift shop and rejecting local law enforcement's promise of safe passage out of town are not peaceful protesters. Who got agitated by this Muslim? White men. Who caused the disruption? White men. When can they be held accountable for their actions instead of blaming a woman?

Polar opposite situations. BLM actually caused a major disruption by storming the stage and taking the mic warranting a boot. This woman only stood up with a message of peace on her shirt while white Trump supporters began to hoot and hollar!

It was ignorant of her to stand during the part of his speech that targeted Muslims? She should have waited to the end of the speech? What, when everyone was leaving and also standing up? There's ignorance here but it isn't her.

You said...

...she wasn't holding sign...

and yet a shirt that states "SALAM I Come in Peace" is truly a sign for peace

but it's hilarious you think her shirt is the disruption!

This peace sign was a protest for peace...

But for the love of god, don't make assumptions or put words in my mouth. I know you have a biased mind and I do appreciate your comments...but still, you are still charged with emotion and for you this is one spicy jalapeno topic

She wasn't holding a sign, it wasn't being waved nor blocking anyone's view. The message on her shirt wasn't offensive at all, well unless you really don't like Muslims.

Assumptions? What assumptions do you speak of and what words am I putting in your mouth? We wouldn't want to be putting words in each others mouths now would we?

You're talking to me about being biased while claiming you're only here to support any campaigners right to throw out a protester and not just because it's Trump and you support him. Clearly you're biased because you're a Trump supporter. Charged with emotion? Nah, but you know who was charged with emotion? Trump supporters at the sight of a Muslim woman standing up with a message of peace written on her shirt. Funny how you have NO problem with that at all but do have issues with this woman. Talk about being biased.

I have to agree with you...she wasn't holding a sign, my bad. She was wearing it.

Clearly I support the actions of any campaigner in removing protesters from their rally, sure why not? Your thread just happens to be about Mr. Trump. I dare you to create a similar thread from another campaigner who "threw out" a protester [loud or silent] and I will be glad to post there too!

But I know what your intentions are on here to get into a political debate about which nominee to support and once again I will have none of that, thank you.

I have a secret to tell you, no one believes that's why you're in this thread.

What are you thoughts on the Trump supporters making a scene about her?

Can you not stay on topic for one moment? It is so like you to be so twisty with changing the discussion around and turn the spot light on the crowd as opposed to the "protester" being escorted out.

I don't know the crowd, I wasn't there, I didn't hear anything, and so I have no opinion on that in this thread.

Really brandishing a fire arm? I think anyone doing that at any rally would be escorted out in hand cuffs! Brandishing any kind of weapon at a rally or public function would be pure stupidity.

You did not read anything about who she is or what she has done in the past did you? That she is associated with CAIR. This was nothing but a way, like I said, to try to get press coverage for being removed.

The reason she was removed had nothing to do with the Trump campaign. It was explained by local law enforcement that any disruption would result in ejection.

She was not simply standing up. She was standing in protest. She was told not to do this. She did. End of story.
