Top UFO books of today.

Its been a while since one of these were posted and many new ones have came out along with new thoughts and ideas on certain cases and theories etc. What are your top 10-20 UFO books of today?

I am a believer, i have seen a couple, but as for any new books? i feel like the whole ufo scene has been corrupted somehow.

I like the stories that old people have, they seem the most genuine..
If i am having a conversation with and elderly person, i always ask ,if they or anyone they know, have ever seen something strange in the sky, or something else, that was supernatural.

One that I plan on reading again because it was so full of interesting/fascinating accounts of Presidents who have had encounters with ufo's and other Presidents with possible knowledge of ufo's would be this book. Ronald Reagan had two encounters with ufo's. I was only aware of one prior to reading this book. I am convinced that many past Presidents had much more info regarding ufo's than was previously known. In addition to the Presidents knowledge of ufo's there are also many accounts of sightings by the U.S. military that I had never heard of before, mostly along the timeline of the early to late 1950's. It's also my opinion the military too, knows way much more than and for a much longer period of time, than we have been led to believe. A very good read!

Good book

Agree with his position or not, he charts his own interests and how he came to see it all as BS. No conspiracy and no 'orders' from GCHQ or the National Archives.

You're absolutely right. There is a disturbing level of ignorance, fear, and obstruction of these topics (E.T., craft, Earth visitation) on the social stage. Its like a joke to some.

I don't know if I'd call it a TOP ufo book, but one of the best niche books Ive read lately on the subject is:

Triangular UFO's: An Estimate of the Situation by David Marler.

Not super-recent but very relevant I'd say...

I have not heard of this book nor incident before, but I can see I will have to pick it up. Was glancing at the reviews on Amazon, and they are very good.

That last one is a very religious and anti UFO but I've included it for balance. I like to keep up with some of the new agey stuff along with the nuts and bolts. There's loads of other stuff by various authors in books just called Paranormal or The Unexplained but that's no help is it.

There's a lot of abduction stuff too but we'll stick to machinery for now. I'm not sure what to think about that but I like to keep up with the literature when I can. Hopkins/Mack are the obvious. While we're talking obvious, there's a few names missing above but that's why.
Fortean Times is a must and if you really wanna go nuts you could have a look at Montague Summers Physical Phenomena of Mysticism but I wouldn't start with that one.

Apologies for Sp n Gr this was done on a week old phone with a little half pen with a rubbery tip. I can't see them taking off as a big thing at secretary school for speed typing.

PS I wish they would use a BIT more imagination when they come up with book titles!!!

My favorite by far is "Encounters with Star People" and the sequel,
"Sky People: Untold Stories of Alien Encounters in Mesoamerica".

Both are excellent; and both have stories about non-material orbs
turning into both "aliens" and large "UFOs", which is really hard to
come by in any UFO book. I emailed the author.. she's really nice.

After that, anything by Jacques Vallee. Last year he came to my
house for dinner and we chatted about a lot of different things
involving all the usual subjects. He's perhaps the only person
on Earth that I respect everything he has to say on such subjects.

It was a wonderful experience, and he's a wonderful human
being.. a one of a kind in the world.

Afther that, the rare book:
"Ufos Psychic Close Encounters: The Electromagnetic Indictment"
by Albert Budden.

Finally:
"The Trickster and the Paranormal" by George Hansen.

And that pretty much wraps up my list of books I consider worth
reading on the subject.

Oh sure John Keel is fun to read, but I believe he was a bit more
entertainer than journalist and researcher. But still fun to read.

I just came across finding out about this book today, and put in a request for it. Sounds quite interesting.
summary: about the suppression by a "secret government" of unlimited amounts of so called zero point energy gleaned from reverse engineered downed ufo's going back a ways in time. Testimony from military and intelligence officials.
