I don't care how much money you make, jsut what you do. It might give me some insight as to the childish, jealousy filled comments bieng made.

and you guys constantly bitch and moan how there is nothing in the newsor the TV media anyway, so why the contradiction guys that he chooses to ignore. Still any takers on the PDB question, or do you not know what that is, I mean, you obviously did not ride the short bus if you can boot up a pc

Yeah, those legacies sure do come in handy!
He wouldn't have gotten in without it.

If I told you I'd have to kill you.

If there was a presidential directive for the lack of bad news, then why can't the author of the article post that as evidence?

Did anyone else happen to catch this phrase in the article "The Nelson Report is a daily political tip sheet and analysis." I don't know about anyone else, but that doesn't exactly strike me as objective reporting.

OK, James Bond, then we should all lighten up if it is Friday. I was not asking for a pat on the back or recognition, just acknowledgement after the remarks about Bush. Maybe you are the only one who knew what it was, anyway, You like to throw around the mystery job thing too, i have read it before in your posts.

So either you're the real deal and have an inside track, or a 37 y/o Subway night manager living in his Moms garage apt. I hope it is not the latter, as I enjoy your posts and it would provide such dissillusionment

And remember your name and money can get you in the door, what you do from there is your choice.....

I just love it!

Another story that simply is not substantiated in any way shape or form and a whole pile of people give a shoot from the hip response from the standpoint that it is true.

You know what? If anything like this was posted as a non-political topic, within the first three responses someone would immediately request proof be provided. But not when it comes to politics and world affairs, probably a hey of a lot more important than most of the threads that are seriously challenged and analyzed.

I wonder if even here we are capable of denying ignorance when it comes to politics, since so many seem incapable of keeping their emotions and opinions in check long enough to even care about substantiation of the truth.

Bleh!

So now political discussion comes down to the ridicule of mentally impared children?
Bush is inarticulate, no, um.. ah... doubt, but some of the assumptions posted here about his reading habits and intellegence are just that,
ass-umptions.
By the way, the Downes Syndrome kids I have had the PRIVILEDGE to know and work with give thier love and affection unconditionally, a better character trait and behavior than some "smart" people I know

dgtempe,
IT may give me an understanding as to why you do not like Bush, and why you continue, in every post that you have, call him an imcompetant.
If you are disgruntled and dislike the world and think Bush is the reason you have a crummy job, the general consensus is you lean to the liberal side. This is an observation of my own. Where as it would seem that only rich, privelaged people are the Republicans in charge. not so.

Your typical middle class hard worker with military exp and college edu such as yourself is generally a Democrat, unless you happen to have a little trust fund money and your parents voted Republican, then you may be swayed.

NOw, Dgtempe. Can you tell me what point you make in belittling our president? Do any of you have kids, I mean, do or would you tell your child our president is a retard?

You know, Esdad, with all due respect, i did not realize you were trying to psychoanalyze me. I can go to a shrink for that if need be.
Thanks anyway.

Esdad, my children grew up with the highest regard for the presidency of the United States. They were taught to respect. AND their father is a Marine with a top secret government clearance.

They can decide for themselves how to think.

Their is now psychoanalyzation, calm down. I am just trying to figure out why you are so defensive.

I enjoy anthropology and sociology, I am not trying to be Fraser Crane, cool.
All I asked was if anyone had kids, and how they raise them in regasrd to ther president. I am not attacking anyone, yet I feel it from you. Do you never down talk the president in front of your children?

What can I said a president that does not want bad news should no go into war with the world on terror.

I guess is better to play dumb that to learn the truth, that as a man that has gone in a war with another country your are responsible for the death of thousands of men, women and children.

I guess reality is to hard to handle.

Denial is a bliss.

It's common knowledge that Bush avoids reading the newspapers.

It steadily amazes me, day in and day out, that you continue to make these unsupported and fallacious assertions and claims. You may not like the man, but your disrespect for his OFFICE is beyond absurd and quite unfounded!

The President does read the news papers, ECK. The President is also briefed on anything and everything deemed of national and international importance, which is also undoubtedly covered in main stream news outlets. Those briefings last nearly an hour, every morning and during the day, 7 days a week!

Hello?!

Seekerof, with all due respect, one would think you were with the president at breakfastime to hand him his slippers, coffee and newspaper.

1. I think its more likely that with his resources he has lots of information and a complete picture, which none of us headline-readers do, and you may want to at least admit the possibility that the news isn't as grim as the media portrays. This would explain his demeanor.

2. Its also possible that he understands exactly how grim the news is and being in such a responsible position, realizes he cannot give in to, or exhibit, panic and despair, like many of us headline-readers do. This would explain his demeanor.

3. Finally, many people who just don't like Bush would like to seize on anything in order to portray Bush in a bad light, like saying he doesn't grasp reality just because he doesn't react in a way you approve. That would explain YOUR demeanor.

Haha
...that's a good quote. I'm going to repeat it, if you don't mind!

And yeah...I don't know if Bush is just arrogant and won't apologize for his own stupid acts or if he just refuses to acknowledge they were stupid in the first place.

I don't know where you've been, but that little tidbit was front and center in the mainstream news quite awhile back. But if you blocked out that bit of stupidity, I wouldn't blame you. If the guy I supported said such a thing, I'd probly do the same.

Come on Seekerof.. You can do better than this pitiful attempt at defending the indefensible.
