Is the premise here that rape victims are incapable of being rude assholes?

Screaming at someone taking questions from the audience IS rude. I would have been embarrassed if Hillary took her questions. No fan of Hillary, but come on.

Who was silenced in a court order?

Ivana Trump.

I've already provided a source for that claim.

Are you kidding????

Sorry. I provided more than once source.

This thread is about Hillary.

However, she recanted. She was not suppressed or ignored. She also stated she was not raped, and, they were also married. She stated she had sex with her that was rough. public record.

We can start another thread on that thought if you like but it is not associated with this thread and should be removed as off-topic.

Really?

You posted this in US elections.

Now unless you want a star baiting thread of back slapping and no debate, it only right to compare to other leading and pass candidates as well and comparing this action to other action by Hillary for a sense of perspective.

Now if you had wanted to ONLY discuss her the I would have suggested the "peoples" Forum.

But as you have posted here its only right to bring in other candidates for comparison as well as bring up other past negatives actions of Hillary to put things in to perspective.

Another quote from that "Rude" rape survivor's Facebook (looks like her 'rudeness' was inspired by Hillary's OWN source of inspiration):

Yes, that was me and yes, I am fully aware of how impolite I was. According to a little sign in Hillary Clinton's Salem, NH office; Well Behaved Women Rarely make History.

I agree she was trying to disrupt the town hall meeting. This was nothing more then her attempt to make an issue to harm her campaign looks like mission accomplished. This is thr exact reason I think Hillary will lose she has so many skeletons in her closet. Just wait until that benghazi movie comes out. It puts the blame squarely on her shoulders. Again if democrats were smart they would go with sanders he could beat Trump. Many he would never vote for her would be willing to vote for him over Trump.

So you decide where threads should be now, huh? Fine, you want to make this not about Hillary and about Trump, go for it. Both of you.

This is not about stars. This is about basic respect for humanity. I pointed out she could have addressed it but she did not. what does that tell us? She is scared too.

If there is a BIG ASS ELEPHANT in the room, address it. If not, be prepared to be hammered from here to eternity on it. This is a big issue to me and to many voters. This is someone who could be in the oval office and is championing womens rights but will not talk to a known, to her, as many of you pointed out, rape victim. if her dumb ass addressed it she would have gained a few points but instead, she shows everyone exactly who she is. someone who will call someone who has endured a life changing experience as rude.

But it was ok when BLM decided to stop Bernie and others, right? People who were not directly affected in their lives cause they are making a difference? The mere fact you think that a rape victim is a rude asshole shows me what a true piece of garbage you are.

Hillary asked if anyone had questions, and she ignored her repeatedly. A REAL politican and person of the people would havew dealt with it then. If Hillary cannot deal with this person how in the hell can anyone think she could run a country.

Mr Putin, you are rude...I am not talking to you....about as mature and effective as Obama.

So was Ivana Trump, Donald Trump's ex-wife.

The book, by former Texas Monthly and Newsweek reporter Harry Hurt III, described a harrowing scene. After a painful scalp reduction surgery to remove a bald spot, Donald Trump confronted his then-wife, who had previously used the same plastic surgeon.

“Your #ing doctor has ruined me!” Trump cried.

What followed was a “violent assault,” according to Lost Tycoon. Donald held back Ivana’s arms and began to pull out fistfuls of hair from her scalp, as if to mirror the pain he felt from his own operation. He tore off her clothes and unzipped his pants.

“Then he jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than sixteen months. Ivana is terrified… It is a violent assault,” Hurt writes. “According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ‘he raped me.’”

Following the incident, Ivana ran upstairs, hid behind a locked door, and remained there “crying for the rest of night.” When she returned to the master bedroom in the morning, he was there.

www.thedailybeast.com...

She accused him of rape in a court deposition and as part of the divorce settlement was legally bound not to talk about anything regarding the marriage without Trump's consent. She was raped....and then silenced. But what really stuck-out was when Trump's spokesmen said on the record that "you cannot rape your wife".

It is also fact that he had an affair with Marla Maples while he was married to Ivana.

Don't forget the part where Trumps (successful) defense in court was that everyone knows you can't rape your wife.

FOR Introvert...

Or, you can read Ivana's words and not what was in the 'book' you quoted.

Update 7/28/15 9:50 AM: Ivana Trump released a statement Tuesday morning to CNN.

“I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit. Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of. I have nothing but fondness for Donald and wish him the best of luck on his campaign. Incidentally, I think he would make an incredible president.”

Ironically, Ivana says a story based on her own words in a divorce deposition are “totally without merit.”

Anything else or can we get back to the dozen the Billary's have hushed up...

Is it just me, or does anyone else notice how one rape survivor's words are being used to condemn Hillary for her reaction, yet another rape victim's words are being dismissed because it applies to a political candidate of the opposite party?

That's interesting.

It appears that the act of rape has no meaning unless it it beneficial to one's political agenda.

Hmmm.....

The law you are referencing was removed in 84. They were divorced in 1990.

Her words were taken from a court deposition in a divorce proceeding and then published in a book.

She was silenced from speaking about the marriage negatively without Donald's permission. I've already provided a source for that.

Denouncing rape needs to have a body count?

Exactly! It was the first thing I thought about when I started reading the Op's post. We can probably find fault with every candidate. However when you start talking about being rude, having skeletons in the closet and not answering questions, Trump is the poster boy!

No, that was absolutely disgusting. If anything I would think you would think it was OK to interrupt Sanders. I'm the one who doesn't think people should be obnoxious to politicians and expect to be answered, remember?

True.

Trump would have been arrested and charged for rape after her deposition if he would not have silenced her in the divorce proceedings. Previous laws would have saved him, but he had to use lawyers to save his ass.

What would you expect?

I thought Sanders set a precedent for how democrat candidates handle loud protestors. But maybe that depends on the protestors race.

If you are black and rudely interrupt Sanders you expect to be handed the microphone, patronized and apologized to.

I like Sanders...
I won't vote for him but I read his book and he is ok. Certainly not the scumbag Hillary is. He is a little more socialist leaning than I would prefer but I do not hate him. I think he has balls for challenging her.
