I volunteer to be the first casualty resulting from forced confiscation laws that come for my guns. Oh, hell no!
They will have to pry my nonexistant firearm from my dead hands....

I believe you said it was the purifying waters of Lake Minnetonka.
What a coincidence! I have a neighbor who had the exact same accident. He lost his crossbows too.
Murky, deep water, he said.
I would love to see Obama hypnotized and set loose on a golf course with a bowling ball in place of golf balls. I don't know why, but that popped into my head when I read your post.
President Barack Obama lamented that Congress hasn’t done anything to prevent the kind of gun violence that has taken the lives of thousands during his tenure.
He said Congress had a chance three years ago to pass a bi-partisan bill that would have required background checks of everyone seeking to buy a gun.
He claimed this to be a policy that was supported by some 90 percent of the American people and a majority of NRA households. He said the gun lobby mobilized against it and the Senate blocked the bill.
He said he has directed his team at the White House to look into any new actions he might take to reduce gun violence.
Does a ‘gun control’ executive order loom on the near horizon after this Obama Video?
'I can't sit around and do nothing about guns' Barack Obama - BBC News

President Obama has said he wants to take unilateral action to tackle the problem of gun violence in the US. In his first weekly address of 2016, Mr Obama said he would meet Attorney General Loretta Lynch to discuss possible actions. He said he would seek to use his executive powers as president because the US Congress had failed to address the problem.

We know he's not going door to door to take our "boom boom sticks" it's the ridiculous laws that he will try and make that does nothing but punish law abiding citizens. Here's an idea enforce the current laws on the books.

114TH CONGRESS 1ST SESSION
H. R. 4269
To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes.
123 co-sponsors all democrats. This will of course go nowhere but if you enjoy a laugh it's worth a read.

Most likely it would get shot down but after how many years and after how much money?
