Fire destroys Aleister Crowley’s Boleskine House

The charismatic persona of Crowley and his unique legacy, took to the ashes like a phoenix.

A fire has destroyed much of Boleskine House, the former home of occultist Aleister Crowley and later Led Zepplin guitarist Jimmy Page. Firefighters were called to the house situated on the banks of Loch Ness at 13:40. hours GMT today, after flames were spotted engulfing the historic building.

I didn't know it was such a well-known historical site (I know of Crowley but haven't studied his whole story) www.mysteriousbritain.co.uk...

I wonder if the owners were there at the time. Very interesting place... I hope all are ok

I always wanted to visit the Boleskine House. I'm curious what actions OTO and other organizations will do to restore or memorialise this treasured Thelemic Mecca. 93

Was about time that someone decided it has taken too long already and shut that gateway for demons. Hopefully this fire was able to shut that door tight and will we notice less evil on our planet the coming decenia. It would be great if the vatican will create a legion of priest to hunt the remaining demons and finish them off for once and for all.

I was just talking to my girlfriend about visiting this place. The next morning, this was the news.

All depends on what for you were planning to visit or experience at that place... If it was for the architecture you are right... not much to enjoy after the fire. If you were planing to experience some demon activity this can well be the best moment in the entire history of that house.... Just say'n..
