The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia

This one is by far one of my favorite movies. I was eight years old when it came out and is one of the first movies I remember seeing at the drive in theater.

Travis Child (Dennis Quaid) wants to go to Nashville to be a country star. His sister, Amanda (played by Kristy McNichol) wants to be his manager. A small town sheriff puts their plans in danger. More info here.

Kristy McNichol was the doll back then. I think i read he became real estate agent and went cukoo. too bad.
