The college kids may have vastly inferior life experience, but they know how the system is structured and supposed to work. These kids also know how to read statistics, graphs and polls.

They also live a life under mainly extreme left propaganda in colleges. I give you the 99%ers, Yale students signing a fake petition to do away with the first amendment, and a fake petition at another university to ban Dreaming of White Christmas because its racist...lol. Also remember them complaining that money should be shared around to all to be fair, but when they were asked if they should drop their A to a C to give others those points to get them up to a C they said NO WAY I EARNED THAT GRADE! College students are dumbest smart people I have ever met..

I quit listening to Limbaugh about the time he coined this term... I just couldn't listen to him anymore, even in the interests of being "informed" on the conservative perspective. Like Rush it reeks of self-righteous contempt and arrogance. Not that there aren't any "low information" voters; but there are far more selectively informed voters... or partisan informed voters... or otherwise informed, but from only one perspective.

When I hear the term "LIV" now, I think "Limbaugh informed voters."

If 4 is 40% of 18,000,000... you might be a low information voter.

The Democrats put out the same stuff and so I think people are informed.

1. Obama is going to buy everyone a house.
2. The republicans are going to take away all women's rights.
3. Hillary is going to pay off everyone's student loans
4. The poor will be so much better off under a democratic president

And so on, it seems they get their messages across quite well.

Always adding such fine commentary. Love your math also. It is just so...Common Core? or is that a little pun based on the black voters in 2012 right? I think it was the first time in history more black voters turned out than Non-Hispanic whites.

It will be interesting though when the GOP nominee pulls more than the usual 3-6%.

I'm too old for Common Core but thanks again

I wouldn't call it a pun.

Yes. Is there a reason I shouldn't have?

To me the low information voters are the ones who can only discuss two parties being involved in elections. They haven't a clue that there are multitudes of parties with candidates.
THAT is the reason for the rut in which we find ourselves today. Two parties have convinced the majority of voters that the world as we know it will end if one third party candidate should win an election. Until you can find your way out of that two-party morass, we'll never get the train running again. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is simply insane.

What do you do? Just make these figures up? That's why people are making fun of your math.

In 2012 whites were 72 percent of the electorate, blacks were 13% and hispanics 10%.

I say stay with what works no need to change it...hehe The Republicans are really bad at this. They should say..

1. One free abortions for every vote
2. Everyone will have a living wage job
3. Free and legal pot for everyone
4. All rich people will be put to death.

Done, the Democrats would not have a chance again in 20 years...hehe

I have never voted FOR any candidate. I always just vote AGAINST the Fascist corporate oligarchian.

But I have no illusions that my vote means a damn thing in the grand scheme of things. The mega corps have ways to get what they want.

I'm truly surprised at the emotional investment some people put in political theater.

It's hard to give any credibility to anyone that buys into this BS.

So I take it you don't vote? Because both major parties are fascist oligarchian.

That's a better way to put it.

There are plenty of intelligent people who just don't bother with politics except for the few days or weeks leading up an election.

Or there's a reason why the English language keeps both "stupid" and "ignorant" around. They are very different.

When it comes to Kardashians, I am pretty darn ignorant, for example, but I am generally not a stupid person.

A very high percentage of your political posts are propaganda and trolling. Along with this one.

I know this is off topic, but damn somebody had to say it.

I'm glad someone said it

The ironic part is that comments like that support some of the prior comments quite nicely

I'm someone who is trying to see why I need to vote.

There are candidates I like. It's Hillary though, that'll take the election. She needs about 20% of votes in 2 swing states to get the election win.

It's a fun game of pretend.

We pretend that our vote counts.
We pretend that the politicians care.
We pretend that it'll be different this time.

Am I a LIV or do I know too much?
