I almost feel like this whole thing with Trump is a political setup to keep the Clinton's in power. Trump gets his greatest on TV role. Reps know they can't have him get the nomination. He runs as third party, splits the republican vote, Hillary wins. The only counter the Republicans can make is to have him their candidate, which would ruin the party in the long run. I feel like this whole thing is a big setup on the American People.

It will be the third election won by a Clinton due to a third party taking republican vote IMO.

Anyone else feel that way?
And what sense does that make...If Trump wasn't running it's a shoe in for Hillary...No one else in the line up can give Hillary a run for her millions...And even if they did, they're all on the same side anyway...

If Trump runs 3rd party...he's gonna split the dem vote too...you can take that to the bank

Enjoy your elections guys. Its gonna be so fun being on the sidelines.
Isn't that the truth...There are lots of conservative leaning Democrats out there who are flocking to Trump...

I think he is in it to really win it.

I have a pet theory that when Trump announces his running mate, that it will be a woman, none other than his very own daughter, Ivanka. Choosing his daughter would fit right in with his claim that as president, he will be great for women. It helps him (in theory) get the women's vote, which he needs to pull away from Hillary. His ego will be satisfied because she is his own blood, and therefore a credit to his awesomeness. My guess is that his supporters would love the idea. She is well spoken and comes across very confident and collected. It doesn't hurt that she is also very beautiful (which will give him lots of fodder to make spiteful comparisons against Hillary's looks that his supporters will enjoy).

Trump wants to convince people he will be great for the economy because of what a fantastic businessman he is, and that he can't be bought, and isn't a career politician, so he won't choose any of the other candidates, for his running mate, like some people have suggested. I think she could potentially pull more moderate republicans to vote for him, that otherwise wouldn't have. The folks who already love him would eat it up like candy.

One thing to consider here is that Hillary's email scandal may take her out of the picture. If it had been anyone else but Hillary doing what she did with those classified emails the government would already be prosecuting her. I don't think the FBI can hold back much longer and not come across as Democrat lackeys or boobs.

And if that happens then it's Bernie. But Bernie is a Socialist. Not a Democrat. Once Trump and the Republicans start hammering him on that then I don't think he can get elected.

It's going to be President Trump in 2017.

I'm leery, that's for sure. No way am I voting for Trump in the primaries, Cruz is my man.

But if the only valid choice is Clinton/Sanders or Trump, 'The Donald in Chief' it is!

Yep. Media is showing her as flawless as possible but the others they show at their most awkward moments.
it's deliberate.

I'm 100% with you, I've felt that way from the start. Trump and the House of Clinton have been allies for years. It's fascinating how his supporters manage to block that out of their consciousness out of desperate hope that he means the things he says. I've said it before and I'll say it again, and this goes for both Sanders and Trump supporters: if they are legitimate threat to the status quo they will not make it to the white house. How many 'elections' will it take for people to wake up to this?

Let's face it: There's no good or popular person to be elected president this go round, just like the past two elections. But if dems once more choose to vote for "change" despite the person being a terrible person to vote for, then they absolutely deserve to experience the outcome. To ask for more of the same of the past 8 years is insanity. I don't particular like Trump, but maybe now is the time to have a president like him in the white house who can put an end to our monetary woes. We are going to go bankrupt with a democratic win. They are spending too much damn money for us to sustain. It has to end. We cannot go in debt forever. That's not how the world goes round. It's incredibly difficult to tell everyone, hey it's us, America. We're good for it! when we're willingly going further in debt every second.

If there is ever a time to vote someone in who is not bought and paid for, it is now. And if the republican party refuses to play ball because they want someone to tow their party line then frankly they deserve to lose when Trump goes third party. In my mind the only question left for this election is, are democrats going to man up or are they going to vote for the party line? We will see just how intelligent everyone voting is come election time.

Trumos ego would never let him play to lose. This is a silly idea that people come up with to somehow discredit him. Theory is to get people to doubt his intentions problem is Trump does what he says even if its in poor taste or even wrong. I really hope sanders wins if its hillary I can all buy gurantee a Trump presidency. Trump will make sure everyone understands what she has been up to. There is also a movie comming out about benghazi called 13 hours. One thing they squarely place the blame on the US government and we all know who was in charge.

Don't think trump isn't going to bring this up every moment he can throw in the emails where anyone else would be in jail and there is no way for her to win. Trump knows how to use the media by the time he was finished even democrats will switch sides. His tactics wouldn't work on Sanders. And it truly surprises me he isn't doing better especially with people who want to stay out of a war. Hillary will be quick to start things up in the middle east she's actually a hawk.

I had a friend point it out and as I thought about it when was right. For example don't think it was Obama that made the call to get Osama. It was Hillary notice how the op was started while Obama was playing gulf. She did that on purpose wait until he hits the links then call him and say we had acruonable intel as to his location I was afraid if we didn't go now would lose the opertunity. So Obama showed up in the war room as an observer notice Hillary was right in the middle of the generals and Obama looks like they had to find him an extra chair from the next room.

I agree, and I really believe that the US economy will not be able to survive another 8 years of insanity.

Many economists have already stated that the deficit NEEDS TO BE FIXED SOON OR THERE WILL BE NO TURNING BACK, making this one of the most important elections in American history.

This is what some people are neglecting to realize when they cast their vote for the same lot of career politicians like Clinton, Sanders, Bush etc. Career politicians aren't going to dig you out of this hole or have the will to take the necessary steps against the political establishment to put the country back on the right track.

At this point America needs an experienced businessman and deal maker who actually cares about the country to patch up the ship before it sinks... and whether you love em or hate em I don't see any other candidate that has a chance of doing this besides Trump.

This is actually a pretty common theory on the internet - Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are golf buddies at the very least, and there was a phone call between them before Trump announced his presidential run where Clinton supposedly urged him to run. Trump has also been a Democrat in the past.

Trump does not do anything half-assed. He has thought about a run before as well as mayor of NYC but it was never the right time. People on both sides of the aisle are friends outside of the political circle and does not mean there are back door deals. Trump contributed money to the Clintons and he also gave to Jeb so there is no conflict of interest.

The problem is that those who control the elections are in a tailspin because they do not want Hillary or Bernie. There would be no way to control the narcissist or the socialist. Obama was a good little lapdog but it is time for change. The last seven years eroded the middle class and the military. They wanted a GOP candidate and the two anti-establishment boys are out in front. Cruz and Trump. With a GOP candidate you would see those who need jobs now take a job at half of what was paid before just to get by. Small business would start an uptick and I would expect to see a new conflict that again would create jobs and pump money into the economy. Lower taxes and gas and everyone thinks we have a brighter future till they put in a Democrat again. Look back historically. It is a control of the rise and fall of the consumer and worker bee called the middle class American.

To bad you will not see a Trump/Paul ticket....

I think it's a real possibility.

One thing people should look into is Trump's history with his Roger Stone who was his initial campaign manager. Trump supposedly cut ties with Stone after they had a big argument, but it came after people started questioning why such a slimy person was running his campaign. I think it was a strategic move, because the connection to Stone would have made the deception too obvious since that's his specialty. Roger Stone is a well known Washington dirty trickster who goes all the way back to Nixon. Stone has a history of helping to organize false anti-establishment campaigns. Trump has helped finance many of Stone's efforts in the past. it's really interesting.

Jeb just quit spending money to save it till Trump is done probably the May timeframe then Jeb will be in with both feet running hard. Clinton will stumble but the pile of free stuff for voters will grow and grow. expect Hill to win because Bush handouts will be too little too late.

Hillery & the 'Fly's Open ' former Pres. will become the PC crowd's ugly/hideous monsters in a couple of months...with Trump saying they are good citizens just not good politicians...(not right for the Nation just as Hussein Obama was just not right)

Soro's will be exposed for all his Darkness & treachery, treasonous acts for profit

and all this before the 7th inning stretch..... wait till Sep-Oct wen Trump will hold forth an Olive Branch to the new Eastern Bosses of the developed world---Russia/China/India/BRICS et al.

the Dems run us off a cliff with their 4th Reich crappola]

Handing election to Clinton - never.

The only thing Trump may hand to Clinton is a huge pack of diapers to cover longish jail time she'll be facing once investigation gets back on truck under Trump's direction.

But election will go for Trump.

I would not be surprised to see the GOP push for a brokered convention. The GOP does not want Trump to be the nominee and have been preparing to throw him under the bus. The only real way to do that is to have a brokered convention in which the delegates can be "persuaded" to vote for another, more reasonable, candidate.

The GOP knows that if Trump stands against Clinton on election day, the Dems will have the White House; possibly for another 8 years.

That is highly unlikely. If you look at the RCP polling averages, Trump is behind Clinton by a decent amount. Even Fox has him down 11 points to Clinton. Clinton Vs. Cruz, Bush or Rubio is much tighter.
