I like at one point the CNN talking head is crying about Trump degrading a reporter, saying no other candidate has ever done anything like that. Gets down to what she said, fact checking.

"A “major league asshole”
In an embarrassing gaffe, George W. Bush insults a New York Times reporter".

"Then Bush spotted New York Times reporter Adam Clymer, who has been with the paper since 1977, serving as national political correspondent during the 1980 presidential race, as polling editor from 1983 to 1990 and as political editor during the successful presidential campaign of Bush’s father in 1988.

“There’s Adam Clymer — major league asshole — from the New York Times,” Bush said.

“Yeah, big time,” returned Cheney".

Why did Trump not mention the 'thousands' of 'celebrating Muslims' right after 9/11?
I mean, he opened his gub about the towers and how crap they were, no bother, but no happy Muslims?

Washington Post, September 18th 2001,

At first, Donald Trump didn’t want to talk about the terrible events that have changed our city’s skyline more than anything the mega-developer has ever erected. But yesterday, we did talk on the phone about what should happen at the site of the World Trade Center.
“Once they get it cleared – and that is going to be a very long process – we will all have a better idea of what can be done on the site,” Trump said. “The current mindset is to put up new towers, and I agree with that.”
But, he said, they shouldn’t be replicas of the downed buildings. “To be blunt, they were not ‘great’ buildings,” he said. “They only became great upon their demise last Tuesday.”
What Trump is thinking of is great, commanding architecture. “What goes up there should be a form of memorial to the dead,” he said. “The buildings need to be a soul-soaring statement of our faith in the future.
”Trump (who is looking at erecting the world’s tallest building in Chicago and who has the world’s highest apartment building across from the United Nations) said he didn’t think people would be afraid to live or work high up after last week’s outrage.
“This is a city largely based on great skyscrapers, and they will always be the essence of New York,” he said. “That won’t change, just as the character of the people who live here will not be altered by this tragedy.”

Oh! the irony, neither did he mention about the Israelis who were arrested, (the dancing Israelis) then let go...as "having absolutely nothing to do with 9/11" at least until they got home, then said on TV they were there to observe the event.
So here today, we have Trump swearing he saw thousands of NJ Muslims celebrating on 9/11 TV news that nobody else saw, yet knows nothing about these Israelis who were on TV for some time after, that most of us have seen...funny that?
As for all the rhetoric, which is what we are seeing here, it's just that... bullshiite! D'yuh see anyone getting sued for telling porkies yet?

Eh?
Trump on Meet The Press,
"I saw it on television. So did many other people. I've heard Jersey City. I've heard Patterson. It was 14 years ago. But I saw it on television. I saw clips. And so did many other people."
So then are you saying Trump is then being economical with the 'truth' or just evasive.
People don't want to know about much later, they want to know if he saw dancing Muslims as he watched the TV on the day of 9/11, the day he also watched the towers fall, both on TV and from his home.

"So what, they are Muslim".

He saw it on tv ?

You mean live ? I doubt it. He could have only seen clips...as he says. The event was 14 years ago...when he saw the clips in question is not stated.

We all saw clips on the day of 9/11, remember much of the broadcasting was retarded from the aircraft collision to the North tower, any clips coming in form New Jersey would have been shown as part of the scenario, anything they could get hold of more like. However you are saying that he saw them when? weeks, months, years later...I think not, nor does it make sense.
What is more like truth though, some quarters knew of an event about to happen, that's what really stinks.

That ignorant woman who’s probably bleeding, and is a very ugly lady, who’s an immigrant (who shouldn’t even be allowed in our country) and should be kicked out when Trump looses.

There probably weren't thousands of Muslims celebrating in NJ after 9/11 as Trump said, but to hear the MSM tell it, it absolutely didn't happen. The truth lies somewhere in between, as a retired FBI agent backs Trump's claim, not as to the numbers, but it in fact did happen.

"Credible Source on 9-11 Muslim Celebrations: FBI

One retired FBI agent says Donald Trump’s claims of seeing Muslim celebrations following the attacks on 9-11 are absolutely plausible.

Jim Burkett was an assistant special agent in charge with the FBI’s office in Boston during 9-11 and afterward. He says during that time the office received tons of phone calls from people who feared more attacks and others reporting suspicious activity.

Many of those calls, said Burkett, came from concerned and angry Americans reporting Muslim’s celebrating over the destruction of the twin towers and damage to the Pentagon. The calls were logged, reports were made and there were “stacks and stacks” of them, he said.

Burkett says somebody in the office began labeling them “Happy Muslim Calls.” Most of the calls he said were deemed unimportant and the agency didn’t see fit to initiate investigations.

But the retired agent says even though video of celebrations following 9-11 is hard to find, he says it means Trump’s claims are highly plausible".

............as well as the media who says nothing of the sort happened. An FBI agent has more credibility than a talking head entertainment journalist reading from a teleprompter, but that's just me.

See, the problems can arise when a whole structure is built based on little details. If the details are weak it sort of messes up the entire structure.

Trumps supporters don't care about any of the details, large or small...they like his bravado, self-confidence, and plain-speaking ability that taps into fears, as well as nationalistic pride....

Again, if you bothered to read my previous replies, I said being part of the left wing media he is too oblivious and arrogant to realize he had his ass handed to him. That's why most libs like yourself fail to pick up on that.

Well, did it happen? Why would the media report on something that cannot be proven to have occurred?

None of what he has said can be substantiated. From what I've been able to find, Burkett has become a Right Wing darling and his former position is used as an appeal to authority logical fallacy for those who are not smart enough to realize they are being played for fools.

Show me some proof of what this guy says is true.

I'm not a liberal. I'm a socialist. But thanks anyway.

As far as getting his ass handed to him, where does that occur? He's a dumb talking head and she seems about as bright as burnt-out bulb. This video is of two idiots talking and some people can't see that....so they claim victory.

It's hilarious, really.
