I was goofing around on the internet, searching...I am not sure if I can find her again though, truly...

It was like woodland creatures or something or another...

I wish there was a way to move the "stat" box to see the little animals on the bottom...no one really looks at that stuff anyway, do they?

Well, you can have it as either:

Just a small avatar pic (like what I have with a plain background), or you can have it as a full background size (which is how you have it set up like now).

Either way, yourself or one of us would need to work off of the original picture to size it down properly to give a more crisp, clean look without if you're wanting to hold the integrity of the original image.

An avatar picture is a maximum of 170px wide x 240px tall
A background picture ranges anywhere from 200px wide x 435px tall, up to 200px wide x 445px tall

I see. Yes, a full sized one is fairly large, as you can see with myself as an example.

Yes, that is why I'm requesting the original image. I'm worried he/she has scaled up, resulting in a pixelated and blurry look. There are things I can do to alleviate that. I'll try a reverse search.

Just out of curiosity, can we see the original image anyway? I think the site may have stretched it a bit, but we might be able to make it larger, and still hold it's original quality.

The photo you uploaded to your profile will work fine, no need to get us an original link

Thank you, I just realized (after seeing yours for a long time) that YOURS is a "black" background with a smaller pic inside...
I really had never noticed that.

Sure, hang on let me see what I can do...Of, course I save it to my comp...
I don't know the "original" site, though...
You, Ghost, were my inspiration for change!

Here she is!

Found it.

The original image is oddly blurry. Perhaps a more high quality one exists.

*Edit*

But if it does, I sure a hell 'aint finding it.

Ha !

As luck would have it, I found the original image for you with a quick little google search:

If you'd like, one of us can play around with the picture so that you get the full image in view... you can have it as either a small avatar pic or a full background pic.

The choice is yours !

How flattering!
I'm glad I was an inspiration

As for the image, we can reverse search the image up using a few different websites, so we might be able to find where it came from. But the full image from your computer will work nicely. Or, since you've uploaded it to your account already, you can just post the one you have in your Uploads

If someone could instruct me on how to do a "reverse image search", I'm more than willing to spent the time on the internet trying to track it down for the clearer, more true original original.

Like you, I'm a lover of fantasy pictures... my computer is loaded with them for desktop wallpapers.

And if I can't find a better quality image, would you be willing to look at some others that I think you might catch your eye ?

It doesn't take long to make a few others for you to look at.

Reverse image search won't find you a better one, I've already tried.

Cody, Bfft et. al, I would like to take a portrait of a good animal friend of mine and make an Avatar of him. I noticed DOTM's Avatar, and his/her's is along the lines of what I had in mind. I'm in no hurry, but I would like to memorialize Doobie, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, with an ATS Avatar. Please let me know what you guys/gals may need - I have tons of digital pics of the handsome boy.

Cheers,

Tony

And here's another version with a bit of a change in the lighting than the original

But! it did help me find this:

which is the very original image before the characters. So I used some of it to help lengthen the image that makes up THMockingBird's avatar.
