Well, I just wanted to share this, just to see what people think.

In the pursuit of wisdom and knowledge, and denying ignorance, what do you all think about starting a thread every couple months just to see how people are doing? A "coming together" of the community, persay.

Just a question, because in reality, denying ignorance begins with caring. And from this we can pursue the thought of denying ignorance better.

Maybe I'm creeping people out, it just popped up in my head and I thought I'd propose it =]

What a nice thing to suggest! Caring!

I hate to be first, but what the heck

I'm fine, work is boring as usual. No place to go but out the door.

Hubby is fine, he's still somewhat shell shocked, but doing better (the Marines)

My boys are doing fine but i miss them terribly, i want to go back to Massachusetts to be with them, but my mother who's 77 lives in Arizona and i'm torn as to what to do.
As long as we have our health i guess we're ok.
Love posting here

I hate to burst the feel good bubble,
BUT,
Denial of ignorance starts with OBJECTIVITY, not caring.

Caring is an emotional state and as with any emotion can cloud logical judgment.

A time out thread might be useful for creating some "community" feelings
yet isnt that what BTS is for?

How "fine" am I?
that is a constantly changing state of relative perspective.
My current description would be "Unsatisfied yet coping".

Did you really think everyone would be happy comming here to post?

I am!!!!!

Works is a drag as usual, my lodger is hacking me off cos he's always late with the rent, I'm worried about the senior cat as she's getting on and is no where near as sprightly as she once was, second day of quitting smoking and would gladly chew Anne Coulters nipple if it contained nicotine (ok perhaps that's not entirely true), my family is constantly hacking me off but I love them and realise how lucky I am to have them and I'm debating whether to have a small cosy meal for family and friends or a mass party booze up rave for my fortieth next month.
