This the topic of the thread,

Illinois Resolution Seeks Seizure of Privately Owned Weapons

And I can post links to instances in which political rats tried to find ways with law propositions to change the definition of the second amendment.

BTW I did posted a review of the reason of the Supreme court interpretation of the rights of private citizens to owning guns

Now If you can find where did I posted that somebody is going to knock my door to take my guns please feel free to show me

Gun grabbers are always going to be grabbing guns.

They have no regard for the Bill of Rights.

But that is seen daily, so this is really no surprise.

What guns have been "grabbed"?

People will always try to find a way to negate the 2nd Amendment. Because they are cowardly fools who have no regard for freedom or rights.

If you cannot understand that, then the fault lies with you.

Again, what guns have been grabbed?

How has the 2nd become "negated" to the point that guns have been seized from individuals?

DO WE WAIT UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN TAKEN BEFORE SPEAKING OUT?

Who is going to take them?

Specifically, please.

*oh man*

So are you saying that there are no political individuals, no parties what-so-ever, that want the 2nd AMendment gone?

Once the 2nd Amendment is over-turned, then I suspect that some will allow us to use the term "gun grabber".

If we still have a 1st Amendment afterwards.

Allow you to use the term?

Who else - aside from yourself, has said that you're "not allowed," to use that?

Play victim, typical conservative tactic. I'm being attacked!!1!1

No one is coming for your guns - get over it. Three Democrats introduced a bill in Cook Country over a month ago.

Once they start coming for us Illinoisian's guns, I'll be the first to let you know.

If we still have a 1st amendment? What's one of the clauses... freedom of religion, right?

Don't we have a presidential candidate who wants all Muslims to self-identify by wearing a special patch?

How about the fact that another presidential candidate wasn't even born in the United States?

"But meh gerd, de'er comin' for mah gunz!"

no they'll send one of the dozen or so state, county city law enforcement agencies to do it. Politicians wouldn't dare show up at anyone's door, if they did you can bet it would be behind a few dozen cops.

Absolutely not, but what you and others are doing is crying wolf and when someone actually does try to take our right away, no one will believe you.

This bill is a joke and will not amount to squat.

Don't cry wolf over this.

Sure.

We should just keep our mouths shut at every attempt.

I should behave better and not use that pesky 1st Amendment.

So you don't trust the Law to obey the 2nd Amendment?

Interesting.

What about their right to bear arms?
Who comes for their guns when they're off duty?

Let me spell this for all those that think they are better than the supreme court interpretation of the second amendment.

(snip)

So for those that thinks they know better than the supreme court, well is going to be nothing but personal opinion.

I Do know better than the SCOTUS. You see the SCOTUS was divided along ideological lines 5/4 in Heller. Therefore 4 of the nine are unable to read what the founders said on the matter even though SCOTUS case law ensconced therefore in stare decicis doctrine says that the words meant what they meant when they were written and that the documents of the founders and their contemporaries are the supreme documentary sources when interpreting the meaning of the constitution and the bill of rights. Therefore 4 of the justices are incompetent at interpreting the constitution and our liberty hangs by a thread depending on SCOTUS nominations.

More and more I'm seeing people who criticize anyone who speaks out for freedoms.

It's getting annoying.

So no one is taking guns.
Good.

Should I just sit and wait until they do before I say something?

As for the other issues, start a thread and put your bitching there.

I mean when I initially asked DB and you responded to my question without me asking you.

Yes you are free to do so, but my question was directed specifically at someone who said that they're coming for your guns.

By all means, speak out all you like. But when your message is bleated so many times about actions that never happen.....don't be surprised when no one listens.

Again, no one is telling you to "behave better," to not "use that 1st amendment," and no one has referred to it as "pesky," other than yourself.

You are making up theoretical replies/scenarios to reply to, in order to prove your point.

Also, the burden of proof is on you when making a claim - you cannot make a claim, and therefore claim it to be true simply because it cannot be disproven - this is a logical fallacy.

Stop playing victim, it is what makes the entire "gun grab," fear-mongering the non-sense that it is.

You do realize, that gun manufacturers have increased roughly 140% - and stocks are estimated to have doubled - under the Obama administration?

Do not let this get in the way of the fabricated reality that he's coming for your guns, or in this case - that three Democrats from Cook County are.

I do no doubt for a second that the second amendment is currently being scrutinized, and there are attempts at amending it.

However - no one is coming for your guns. It's beyond crying wolf, it's the far-right taking one out of the playbook from the far-left, whine, complain, play victim, and make up hyperbolized scenarios to push an agenda.

And what about when they're asked to disarm their own families?
Or are they exempt as well?

What will the military have to say about all this illegal gun grabbing?

And, yes you are about to see how ridiculous this entire argument is, do you really think the local LEOs want a Civil War to erupt over some politicians new illegal law?

Let me try to be as specific as possible. When someone introduces legislation that negates the lawful ownership of firearms, then it can be interpreted as "someone coming for your guns".

Now I'm to understand that I can't voice criticism over that legislation, because it is crying wolf.

They don't need to go door to door to take away the guns but who is to stop them from taxing a the crap out of a bullet?
