This is the latest product to be developed and it's called the Arca Board. It's an actual Hoverboard that uses 36 small fans to hover 1 ft above-ground. It's better than the pseudo-hoverboard(s) which actually roll on wheels and catch fire all the time. This one actually hovers, although, it doesn't look very stable.

One step closer to the future or another feeble Hoverboard attempt? I think this is a step in the right direction but there's a lot more work to be done. What says ATS?

Yup that's it.

I think it's a long, long way before we ever get hoverboards like in Back to the Future. That thing seems too unstable and takes a lot of power.

Maybe to come better fans and feed back to a computer to control the fans to make it more stable.

Seems possible with tech today.

The ones from back to the future are actually the realistic way a hoverboard will come around. Unfortunately we haven't figured out how exactly to polarize magnetic material to react to Earth's natural gravity in a uniform, reactive manner....publicly

Publicly.. very curious statement..

We know magnets repel each other when polarities conflict right? We also know the earth is basically a giant magnet. Electro-magnetic forces can repel earth's natural gravity, but it takes a lot of power.

Perhaps we should invite Bob Lazar to the conversation...LOL..

Well, Lazar is a whole other thread in himself, but no.

We need to perfect a stable cold-fusion reactor to achieve the power needed to repel earth. It's in the works, but FAR from completed, and no, element 115 isn't the answer

We haven't achieved self-sustained fusion (aka making a star).

Lexus made one. It uses super conductors and liquid nitrogen. It looks cooler, and is probably a lot quieter than the one with all the fans...

It seems everyone is on this hoverboard thing these days.

And those "hoverboard" things that catch on fire? They're selling for like $400 here in the US...if you buy direct from China you can buy the same thing for less than half the price. The companies selling them for $400 are buying the same ones, and slapping a logo on them. LOL Gotta love capitalism...

Super-cooling is actually super-efficient for anti-gravity!

That's just magnet under concrete.
