Attempts by the far right activist detainees and their attorneys to smear the Shin Bet over its investigation into the Duma deadly arson attack are continuing, the intelligence agency said Thursday, adding that such tactics are aimed at distracting from the crimes of a fanatical Jewish terror organization seeking the overthrow of the Israeli state, in order to establish a fundamentalist monarchy that would expel non-Jews from the land.

In a statement, the second of its kind released this week, the Shin Bet said it is investigating a Jewish terrorist organization, whose members "are being interrogated currently, which is behind severe attacks motivated by an extreme anti-Zionist ideology. This organization continued to carry out attacks after the arson attack in Duma [which murdered Palestinian parents and their infant son], and they saw that attack as something to be emulated."

Remember the attack back in July where a Palestinian family was killed because Jewish extremists firebombed their house killing a mother, father, and their toddler? Just recently there have been arrests made but according to officials they don't have any evidence to convict. Now we're learning that information about this terror case is being held from the media, which is fine, but we're also learning that Israel is calling these Jewish extremists terrorists. Israel says these terrorists are anti Zionist but I'm sure many members here will disagree with that.

Zionism

Zionism (Hebrew: צִיּוֹנוּת, IPA: [t͡sijo̞ˈnut], translit. Tziyonut, after Zion) is a nationalist and political movement of Jews and Jewish culture that supports the re-establishment of a Jewish homeland in the territory defined as the historic Land of Israel (roughly corresponding to Palestine, Canaan or the Holy Land).[1][2][3][4]

Sounds exactly what these settlers are all about, taking land from the Palestinians for the state of Israel. This settler acknowledges this plan in this ATS thread, Israeli settler provokes Palestinian tour guide and Norwegian group in Sheikh Jarrah.

Israel calls them a terror group but that hasn't stop the Israeli gov't from turning these terror outposts into full blown Jewish state settlements in the past.

If these people represent Zionism, and the Israeli government is against them, I guess they are against Zionism.

From the article it sounds like they would be consider "Zionist". However, I know that multiple Jews, varying on their faith or lack off, don't support Zionism or they're more open to negotiating with non-Jews like the Palestinians.

It's not a king they need, it's a messiah.

Religious consequences of Israel jewish state proposal

And I don't think any magical being will come down from the sky the day the Knesset will pass the Jewish state bill.
Jesus was supposedly 'king of the Jews', not king of Israel ...

That's right.
The Jews and Muslims are waiting for their messiah too.
It isn't just for Christians.

We could say that the west is against ISIS too based on speach from politicians and corporate media, but the fact that ISIS is attacking the wests enemies with western weapons speaks to the contrary. It seems like this is played out the same way. Israel condemns "zionist terrorists" for atracking palestinians but Israel is the one that gains from it.

It's basically the golden rule of anything a western politician or large media outlet claim is exactly the opposite of the truth.

I just read this article saying right wing terrorism is a growing problem there, like here: www.nbcnews.com...

If they were to kick everyone out it would probably spur the Arab countries to attack them again.
