If the place was derelict, it was probably just some kids. Arson, I'd wager. Or an accident--kids messing around and being where they shouldn't be leads to things like this. Like those kids in the United States who went to this plantation to ghost hunt, but got drunk and high instead and ended up burning the place down.

AWesome, had no idea when I went searching/googling for you about the number 23. I know it is discussed often for various reasons here and on other spots through the www, but yeah, good to know you know this man, would love to hear more about your association when you get the chance. Sorry but neither of those are Boleskine house. The house is not waterfront.

The house was lived in by a couple when it burned down.
I was told by a local it was actually going to be put up for sale soon.
