It's my way or the highway!

Lol man I'm really starting to dislike sanders supporters less and less.

I'd rather not watch the world burn down, thanks.

nd if America isn't ready for Socialism Lite then so be it

But America has been doing Socialism lite going back about 70 yrs or starting with that great socialist FDR.

Shh. Nobody likes the truth around here.

Maybe I should have said "openly acknowledging", doesn't matter.

It's my way or the highway!

If that's all you could pull from my post I feel a little bad for you. What's going to happen is going to happen, there are people of every political bent who would say the same thing, do not act like it's a Bernie Sanders thing.

Really though, you don't want to watch the world burn but you'll vote for Hillary and you'll openly declare for Hillary before she has the nomination? Come on now.

I don't think the president is an end-all, be-all issue. I think that congress has a large role to play in the laws that get shoved down our throats.
All the president can do is sign or veto laws. Not create them.

As a realist, I see Hillary getting the nomination, and if she does I'm going to vote for her. But only as a protest vote against whoever the Republicans nominate. They for the most part suck. Though a few, like Rubio, I think I could stand for 4 years or so. I'll still support Bernie until he gets the ax though.

I don't understand why Rand Paul hasn't got any support on ATS. 4 years ago you couldn't move for Ron Paul threads. Now his son is running and no ones interested in the Paul brand. Surely the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Instead ATS conservatives are aboard the trump train who's now more close to their ideology.ideaswhich is no surprise, but he's a billionaire reality tv host. Has that seemed to escape some of you? Bernie sanders would be a shoe in for me, but I can see why the op has his doubts about winning.

Thought this might be a good place to mention a bumper sticker I saw last night.

Honestly, it read:

Libertarians for Bernie

I could not make this up if I tried.

If Bernie gets screwed and Hillary gets the nomination, I'd vote for Trump. That honestly hurts to say that and pretty much goes against my morals, but I won't vote for Hillary's corrupt ass going all the way back to the watergate scandal. At least there is a chance Trump isn't corrupt, most likely gonna be a bad decision though.

I was following Rand and his politics for a while before he thew his hat into the ring. He had a strong showing in the Senate for a while, but since then he has been out shadowed by politicians willing to go the extra distance in matters he isn't willing to budge on. Technically, his views are actually very similar to his father, but people have already identified a other candidates as "more" conservative, so he gets washed out.

It did in his case. He is not his father as evidenced by many of his policies. He is caving to the far right wackadoodles.

Why are you declaring for Hillary now? Shouldn't you wait until she actually GETS the nomination? Just sayin'

Because they already KNOW the fix is in.

I just can't wait to start getting called sexist for criticizing Clinton.

The Race Card will be retire do to overcharges.

They whip out the Sexist Card, and will never stop using it.

You'll have to just throw the card back in their hypocritical faces then. Remember, Sarah Palin was a Caribou Barbie, Beauty Queen, wh*re, b-, c-, *insert crazy eyes*, nuts-n-sl*t, *insert more crazy eyes*, diva, her make-up, her wardrobe, she didn't abort Trig, *insert crazy eyes and heavy breathing*!!!!!

Seriously, I don't know why anyone lets 'the other side' play victim cards these days...they're unplayable.

ETA: And don't forget how Obamacrats defeated Hillary with misogyny in 2008, too. It was actually pretty awful.

Very true he was on point with many of the things he had to say, but although his son share some stuff that I like , am afraid of the others who would surround him.

I was holding out hope that he would be very similar, if not identical, to his father with his policies. He decided to engage in stupid back and forth jabs with Trump, in which Trump made him look silly, and then shift to the right to appeal to the nut jobs. Ron Paul would never have done those things, he stood by his politics and his supports admired him for this stance.
