He dropped out because he had about 1% support from American voters; Republicans and Democrats, alike.
Doesn't seem like much of a vote of confidence.

Lindsey Graham: ‘I would literally use the military to keep [Congress in session]…until we restore these defense cuts

So TOTALLY IGNORE that.

Hell IGNORE this one too.

n November, Senator Lindsey Graham will implore Congress to pledge US troops, defense and unlimited money to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he announce a preemptive strike against Iran. In effect, Lindsey is anticipating that the UN will dissolve the sanctions against Iran and pave the way for the US to have purpose against Iran in a military threat.

Oh yeah Graham is a shiny beacon of 'restraint'.

Are we done yet ?

Sure, why not? That's your opinion

Graham running his mouth.

Clinton runner HER mouth.

IS OPINION.

Right, as is you running your mouth, me running my mouth, etc.

But some opinions are based on facts, intelligence, knowledge, etc.

You seem desperate to discredit Senator Graham, yet, he is one of the greatest proponents of a hawkish US Foreign Policy ...

Why is that?

Why are you jumping through flaming hoops to discredit Graham?

He's a Republican.

He's pro-military.

He's against Democrats.

He knows what he's talking about (unless you can prove him wrong.)

Why so desperate, Neo?

Gryphy...

Graham is the ultimate establishment insider.

A politician will not win the next election.

People are wicked pissed. If you even drove through DC this year.

You are not going to be President.

Carry on...

Well, that means Trump can't be president either.

Glad we took care of that.

Right. Graham isn't going to be President.

But, in August of 2015, he said virtually the same thing, for the same reasons, that Clinton did.

He is not "left-wing" nor is he "pro-Democrat" nor is he "a communist/socialist/etcist."

Perhaps focus on what Graham said, and why he said it? Instead of trying to chime in on the bash-fest?

Ignore what? That Graham supports the US Military???

I STATED it.

You stated that he advocates invading the entire Middle East.

I'm still awaiting your proof of that wildly inaccurate statement.

Stop trying to bash Lindsey and focus on THE FACTS for once?

What does it say about Muslims that they can be totally peaceful one minute and the next, joining the ranks of ISIS because someone in America criticized Islam?

Again, true or not, your opinion has nothing to do with the accuracy of the statements along the lines that "Donald Trump is a great recruiter for ISIS."

Made by Graham in August and Clinton this week. (And by many other experts in the field, which you've all conveniently ignored.)

Why are you folks so obsessed with avoiding the topic of discussion?

Post after post is just more red herring, more avoiding the erstwhile topic:

None of you have disproved anything that Clinton (or Graham) claimed.

You've bashed both of them, but ... so what?

Where are your facts?

Facts, not opinions, if they're wrong ... PROVE IT.

Graham said he would send 20,000 troops to wipe out ISIS.

People have no appetite to spill more blood in the ME.

Less than 1% of people seemed to like his ideas.

Also, he had to get off the ballot for President to run for Senate.

I'm not defending Graham.

I quoted him, back in August, saying that Donald Trump is a great recruiter for ISIS.

There are reasons to believe that he knows what he's talking about.

Why are you so desperate to avoid THAT discussion?

None of your links state that Senator Graham wants to invade "the Middle East" ... he is a hawk (stated) he is pro-military (stated) and NONE OF THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO with detracting from what he said about The Donald.

Now, care to address the multiple comments made by policy experts in the field that back up what Clinton said.

Overcome your rabid hatred of a person for a moment and address the issue.

Source?

Nevermind, that's more red herring.

Senator Graham claimed, back in August 2015, that The Donald is the best recruiter ISIS has.

Other experts (Katz) have made that same claim.

The topic here is whether there is a basis for THAT CLAIM made by Hillary Clinton.

That's the topic.

Thoughts on that?

I wouldn't bother.

And it's the SAME stunt they pulled here:

Basically saying ONLY 'right wingers' create terrorism.

Sure ... here it is again:

"ISIL loves Donald Trump. The idea of having American soldiers taking Mideast oil for our benefit. How big of a recruiting opportunity do you think that would be? It puts Israel, the king of Jordan, all our allies at risk.

"This is an insanely dangerous idea that will embolden ISIL and put everybody in the Mideast against us, turn our allies, put our friends at risk."

Graham said Trump's ideas on stopping the Islamic State is "just one example of why his campaign is not going to be successful."

"Because if he knew anything about the Mideast, anything about destroying ISISL, you would never suggest that we're going to seize oil for the benefit of America in the Mideast," he said.

I don't think this is about right-wingers being terrorists. I'm confused as to why that would be part of your response.

The issue is what Hillary said. Should we ridicule her for it?

I've also just read the link provided by Gryphon and it appears that a statement made by a right-winger mirrors CLinton's sentiments.

Why didn't we make a big deal out of his comments at the time?

It Is Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, Not Donald Trump, In An ISIS Recruiting Video

here's an excerpt.

During the Democrat “debate” last night, Hillary Clinton made the astonishing claim that Donald Trump was being used in ISIS recruiting videos. That resulted in a quick bit of “fact checking” by the progressive media which revealed that, no, Donald Trump wasn’t being used in ISIS recruiting videos. My colleague, Joe Cunningham, covered the demolition of that egregious lie.

As it turns out, there is a prominent American featured in an ISIS recruiting video and that person is Bill Clinton.

A new ISIS recruiting video, titled “No Respite” has been released. The video is interesting because it lays out in very plain terms how ISIS views itself. Anyone who views this an can still say that ISIS is not truly Islamic is either a liar or a blithering idiot. This is the video in full. It is a little over 4 minutes and worth watching.

I'll look for another link as so to pacify the few.

So how can a reality tv show host have more influence on recruiting for ISIS than the officials in government office?
Obama and Hillary ARMED ISIS with the Benghazi fiasco. All of Trumps retoric from all of his life is less consequential than ISIS obtaining weapons from Benghazi. Obama had 8 years to straighten this mess out and he has not. Now Hillary wants us to believe someone who was a tv star at the time is more responsible for this mess than she is?

Again, does your information contradict what Clinton, Graham, Katz and others have claimed?

THAT is the issue here, even though the OP seems to be trolling their own thread with superfluous references.

The topic is not whether we hate Hillary Clinton.

The topic is not whether ISIS are terrorists, or Islamic.

The topic, erstwhile to the obvious political trolling of Clinton, is whether there is or is not a basis for her comments regarding "Trump and recruiting for ISIS."

It turns out, clearly, that there are multiple sources of backup for her comment, from experts and foreign policy experts ... and that's merely the fact.
