He put in a valiant effort. I have to hand it to him, it takes a tremendous amount of political skill to amass the support of 0% of the public. Keep up the good work, Senator.

All he had to was change his phone number.

He's never married, has extensive anti-gay voting record.

Too much suspicion about the closet.

Lets see who is next on the trail of tears... Will Rand Paul be next?

He was certainly passionate about the state of affairs in the United States, and his belief that he could provide remedies.

His performance at the last debate was at times very emotional (he often seemed on the verge of tears), and he certainly did seem to think that his "36 trips to the Middle East" made him far and away the most qualified candidate to address the ISIS situation.

He was clearly in utter disbelief that, while his support hovered at close to zero, Donald Trump was at 40% and rising...his outburst of, "...tell Donald Trump to go to Hell" was just a part of his ultimate death rattle.

It was obviously the right time for him to step away.

Mobi, totally agree w/ you

"...tell Donald Trump to go to Hell" was just a part of his ultimate death rattle.

This absolutely lead to his demise... at least he went out (somewhat) humbled and professionally. NOW who will he back???

He seems to have some solid ideas. Want to actually fix problems rather than ignore them and keep the status quo and he seems pretty honest (Though not perfect). And he does some to be able to form his ideas without being a jerk.

I think though the fact he is a solid individual and not one to get into hyperbole, media smears and other games works against him in a election system based around media whores and popularity factor works against him. Which is sad as that’s what makes him such a strong candidate.

Pataki or Santorum, most likely. A month until Iowa, I'd expect at least three to drop out the week after Iowa.
