Being it

Ummm...I wonder if you've ever had a thought quite like this one...


Enlightenment


How can we say that we have attained enlightenment
if we only touch it
hold it
be it for a small moment

If one reaches that perfect realization
the real challenge is holding it
touching it being it
for every moment and always

I went to sleep in my slumber I was flying
With effort I soared
My fingers outstretched and curved
to cup the air

I then awoke
having been thinking all along
on my true face
my true self

There were many demons there
which sought to reside
to cling
There were faces of animals

There were voices
faces and thoughts
of others that had ever questioned
berated or loved

There was lust
greed
love
compassions care

All faces
all thoughts
all representations
came at me

I lovingly took them all
one by one
fitted them to my face
to my self

I bound them there
with enlightenment
which glowed and infused them all
until they became one

I looked into the mirror of self
saw one face
one self
myself


I certainly hope so...
