i dont trust anyone who claims to be homeless anymore and its truly sad. and i dont even hand out money but people that scam artists will take advantage of ANYTHING that you give them even if its not money.

true story...about 3 weeks ago i saw this young girl in her 20s around my age. she was asking for change and said that she was stranded with her boyfriend and they were homeless and living out of the car. she said she needed money to get a motel and i said no i dont give out money but ill get you food if you need it...(i felt sorry because she looked pregnant...)

so i went and ordered them two meals from a fast food place then i gave them to her. she thanked me and i thought YES! i did my good deed for the day!

fast forward about 2 weeks later...i go to the same shopping complex to buy something at a store and low and behold the same girl approaches me and asks for more money. i think what in the hell? you are STILL here? i remind her that i bought her food before and the look on her face is of shock and she says oh sorry then scurries off.

i think nice. she was completely getting over on me and knew it. disgusting. i wonder how much money she actually did collect and how many people fell victim to her scheme?

completely stupid.

She might have been her own personal escort service and that's putting it lightly. People like that start up business in the wierdest places always bringing all kinds of #. I used to see one outside of an apartment complex on a street where no one in their right mind would ever be, and laugh to myself, "why, it's just a little boyah out for a walk enjoying the summer sun!" precisely because that was so much not the case, she was like 50 or 32 with socket hair and a look like a door smashed in her face. Nice.

I can definitely known "fake homeless people" as you call them in my time. Being homeless for an extended period of time myself, you tend to talk to the others as well and get to know their stories. I don't blame some of them. I live in Maryland , and consistently everyday I would make between 90-$190 from just about 3-4 maybe 5 hours of flying my sign. Christmas and other holidays were the best. Few years ago on Christmas Day I stood out there for 4 hours and made $403.

As for the fake ones, not only did they have a home to rest their heads at (their parents'), they even took it as far as to feign physical disabilities whilst walking back and forth on the median strip. Some older black guy I knew was actually homeless and lived at the shelter down the road, but he would be out there everyday and he put a rock inside his shoe so as to make him have a distinct limp while walking. I've seen people shake like they have Parkinson's or something too, then be inside a fast food joint eating and carrying on perfectly stable, not a quiver to be seen in their hands or elsewhere.

Being homeless for me was frustrating in the sense that people just assumed I was leeching off everyone and a no good addict or lazy POS bum. While I was homeless, I had a part time job, not very good hours, but I strived to get better work and another job that was full time, I had bought my own car , had it fixed up for inspection, and paid for insurance on it, ALL while homeless. Thank God for the people out there who care for their neighbors and give to them no matter what they do with the money. I've been called so many names and had lots of things thrown at me out of cars before. Not fun. When you're out there swallowing your pride on the side of the road or the median strip, you'd be surprised to see how many people really don't have sympathy or the empathy available to give even $1 or 50¢, or anything really at all is what my point is. Once, a young black guy pulled up to me , and emptied his whole wallet out and gave it to me $99.

There are good people out there.

Sorry to have derailed it by the way, just wanted to share my experience. But as for the topic, yes there are fake homeless people. I don't know what you mean about them being "plants" though. Mainly they are just looking for a quick buck the easy way, with their cardboard credit card.

Obvious way of deflecting the subject because I could sit around and listen to stories all day but thats not real life and half of its pointless words used to bait. Im not on here to discuss "feelings." Im here to #. If i felt like it id do it in real life. What are 1000 words "indicating" about a persona about how cruel i am, for not doing EXACTLY as I presented I wouldn't after some random person i cant see shows up and does precisely that thing anyway? I keep saying I'm on here to #. Who is to say what I do or dont feel? I feel like people keep telling me about feelings when im here to #.

I derailed my own topic into a lot of "!#$/&" as it were because I don't think I was ready for all the "how dare you on Christmas!" and so on that might come from that. And tomorrow's a no go. Or the day after. And now my mind is allowing its own time schedule to just take me. I'm fine when that happens. I either will or I wont, return to this subject-

Agents can dress up as homeless people. It's a great disguise, because homeless people always get ignored.
