That little fig tree

When i was a kid, my grandfather gave his life to protect the ones he loved. We burried him on the barren lands of the north, placing three seeds of a fig tree in his mouth with a little fertile soil, everyday we gave of ourselves until it one day gave a little green. Years passed andthe little tree grew to a fig of grandeur stature. Until one day a fig fell to the ground and i ate it, and said; "Thank you grandfather"
