No need to cheat if you have been an aircraft junkie for the last 25 years, (You can count the first five if you dont include being able to read.) Plus those were easy.

1. Is obviously a Crusader.
2. Is the plane which was later developed by MD into the Hornet.
3. Is a derivative of the F-5, and I had a model of it as a kid.
4. Is the Boeing version of the BAE Hawk, my favorite jet trainer.

I mainly know 1930's - 60's aircraft but I'm decent with modern types.

Lol, well I meant to say the first five were before I could read, or was it four? Don't remember, anyhow that's why I left those out. I'll be (gulp) thirty in two months.

Favorites, hard to say I guess it would have to be classes. Plus theres more than one each. As you can see, I love prop planes.

Carrier based: Hawker Sea Fury, De Havilland Sea Vixxen, Vought Super Corsair (thats prop not jet)

Fighter: Northrop P-61 Black Widow, Curtis P-40 Warhawk, Macchi MC.205 Veltro (namesake)

Bomber: Avro Lancaster, Heinkel HE 111 (so many variants!) Convair B-36 (would give anything to hear one flyover. Watch Strategic Air Command with James Stewart.)

Naval aircraft: Dornier Do 24, Martin Mars, Short Sunderland

I love the U-2 and Sr-71

Fighter: F-14, F-22

Attacker: A-10

Bomber: B-1b is my favorite but i like the b-2 and b-52 also

Navy aircraft: f-14

also i love the yf-23, xb-70, and all the peculiar planes such as the f117 and the eurofighter and su-47 berkut.

the mig-31 is a great sleeper.

I love the planes from about 1945 to 1960 the most but having said that I am just a huge plane buff on everything that has ever flown, lol.

I particularly like the FAA types from the 50's, Attacker, Sea Hawk, Wyvern, Scimitar etc etc. to me they are magical. Perhaps the only thing that attracts me more is the 'nearly' planes that never got as far as the assembly shops. The three fuselage 450 seat VC-10 derivative of the mid '60's is a particular favourite, as is the Hawker Siddely HS134 which was basically a 1966 757 and evolved from the Trident in exactly the same way that the 757 evolved from the 727 thirteen years later, I love that stuff!

anyways, here's some piccies of planes that DID get built!

#2 BAe Jetstream T.Mk 1 with 'eyebrow windows' or if it is the prototype then Handely Page HP.137.

#5 Not again. good old #5 is nothing I have ever seen before. Probably Russian though.

I have been a plane junkie ever since I was a baby. My mum say that I always used to be very interested in low flying planes when I was very young. My first books were on aircraft and I spent years making plastic model kits.
I am 25 and have spent a lot of time and money on aircraft related pursuits
. I have also spent around about 40 hours on gliders (motorized, winch launched and aero tow)
My favorite aircraft are from the WW2 era

Fighters-Spitfire MkXIVc , P-51D Mustang, FW-190D

Fighter-Bombers-Hawker Tempest, DH Mosquito

Jet Fighter- Me-262 Schwalbe

Bomber-Avro Lancaster

Modern Jet fighter-F-15

Modern Attack-A-10 Thunderbolt

Modern Bomber- Rockwell B-1B

Airliner- Lockheed Constellation

Oddity- Dornier Do-335? Pfiel (Arrow)
