There we are, I figured that you meant the McDonnell Douglas YC-15 after reading it twice (and I know you meant to do that, lol).

It must be time for todays selection then.

If anyone else has pictures to use I will wait my turn, don't worry, it gives me time off, lol.

Ooh, where to begin?

Thes have been more of a challenge than I expected it seems so I will run through them in order

1, is not a Blackburn Firebrand, but neither is that guess a million miles away, as it is a different type I cabn't give it but keep looking

2, That is a Trislander, a point to Veltro.

3, Is not a version of the Su-15 but a different plane, its not actually an Su-11 either. I have agonised over whether to give it, comparing photo's of the Su-11 with this and decided to be kind, another point to veltro even though it is a Su-9.

4, No-one is even close to this yet.

5, Correct, I think a point each to Apollyon, who obviously knew what it was and Veltro who was 100% accurate in his description

In summary then more goes needed at no's 1 and 4 before we move on

Yes, glad you like it sminkey!
I do love trying to throw a googly whenever possible. Also, that Curtiss XF-87 does look more like a bomber than a fighter doesn't it, well done peronemlin, I'll have a go at these now;

1 Arado Ar-96

2 Dewoitine D-520

3 Fairey Barracuda V

4 Macchi MC 205 Veltro

5 ? buggered if I know

edit it looks a bit Grummany / Republicy to me but I still don't know what it is

#5 Martin Mauler early version.

Some of these pictures are really dark and hard to make out, but I guess thats the point.

All correct

I thought the Deowtine was going to be more hard to guess, as it was in German "costume"...
