Ummm, Windows 10 update is staring at me and I dunno if I like it

Windows 10 is nothing but Windows 8.5 ...which are nothing but an windows 7 build with a convoluted tile interface overlaying the desktop taking up processing power.

I like both XP and Windows 7 interfaces, but this statement isn't true. 8 fixed inherent issues 7 still lives with. USB and networking issues for starters. Let alone the memory leaks.

If privacy is a major concern when installing Win10 then opt for a custom install and disable all the stuff that calls the Mothership. Cortana is another app that phones home regularly so you can disable that too, though you'll loose some perks. Most users seem to get along fine without it.

Gives you back the old Win 7/Vista/XP start menu we're all familiar with. Though classicshell looks good for that too.
