Good lord do Sanders supporters even live in this reality ?

www.realclearpolitics.com...

At this time during the 2008 elections, Hillary and Obama were running at 39%/27% and Obama still won. So a Hillary/Sanders at 55%/31% is not a sure bet.

There's a lot of time between now and the nomination.

Doesn't matter.

You really think the DNC is gonna nominate some old crazy looking white guy or the countries first female president ?

First Female president.

CLinton.

First of all, no one but Trump supporters are acting as if he's going to be president. Second of all, I can't recall a thread where libs are blowing a gasket because polls show Sanders losing. In fact, I don't see much of Sanders threads on ATS at all, mostly just Trump threads. So please, stop with the fantasy, what irony?

So now it's his looks that are preventing him from becoming the nominee? Do elaborate NEO. What exactly is it about Sanders that is "crazy looking"? This should be entertaining....

Hah! Yeah, Obama didn't start taking a solid lead until about March of 2008. If we are comparing, we should give Sanders another three months before determining viability.

Trump is the same story. He's got a lot of time to say something bad about Jesus or guns or something that will be "too far" finally.

You could'a stopped at the last post. That said, I don't believe for a second you won't be voting conservative in 2016 but whatever the case, you don't need to reply again with NONE in all caps. I get it.

That's been very curious I think. Why there aren't any Sanders threads on ATS. Perhaps the hard-core conservative element is a lot bigger here than I thought. AlaskanDad was posting quite a few before but seems to have tapered off. What gives Alaskan?
I thought you were the voice of Sanders on ATS.

Clearly ATS leans mostly to the right. It's been that way since I joined, then again, I joined when Obama was in office so if we get, and GOD FORBID, any of these clown republicans in office ATS will probably lean to the left in an act of balance.

Here's a quick quote from the suit that was filed on Sanders behalf:

The Agreement states, in relevant part: Either party may terminate this Agreement in the event that the other party breaches this Agreement; the non-breaching party sends written notice to the breaching party describing the breach; and the breaching party does not cure the breach to the satisfaction of the non-breaching party within ten (10) calendar days following its receipt of such notice.

Exhibit A., ¶ 6(b) (emphasis added).

14) The Agreement does not permit either Party to suspend its performance of the Agreement prior to terminating the Agreement in accordance with the provision above.

15) The Agreement does not permit either Party to terminate or suspend the Agreement without notice, or without providing the breaching Party with the requisite opportunity to cure.

source the lawsuit in a pdf ms word file

Looks like the DNC's actions went beyond the contracts limitations to me, and the DNC wilfully broke the ten day clause.

Sadly, I agree. Clinton just very well may be the next president. All the republicans, save Paul, are absolutely nuts and even Paul is nothing great but I do love his stance against Big Brother. In the democrat camp we have 2, well 3 I guess, and there's no way in hell I would ever vote for Clinton. Sanders has some extreme ideas but also a lot of ideas I absolutely agree with so I'm down with trying something new.

So in 2016, let it come down to voting for a woman or voting for a Jew, either way, a White House first.

Breaking news! Both camps use polls to define their winner and attack those they don't like! Shocking!

Yes, yes... it's all relative. Both sides act so identically one would wonder why they bother differentiating themselves.

Yeah. It wasn't always this way. When I joined there wasn't a whole lot of politics. It was mostly aliens lol And as far as the dreaded "S-Word" I can understand why. We had the establishment driving the fear of "dirty pinko commie socialists" into our society for a 100 years. They can't overcome their programming. However, the next generation doesn't have the same fear and programming and they are a very large voting block. Times they are a changin'
Thankfully.

I guess we'll keep dancing. I know you don't like Trump but there's clearly many more conservatives to choose from. You're definitely not the kind of person to not vote in a major election, especially considering how active you are in all things politics here on ATS. To not vote, well that would be almost beneath you.

That all said, I get it.
