The presidential campaign of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders filed a lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee late Friday, arguing that the party had unfairly suspended the campaign’s access to key voter information.

The suit came hours after the campaign’s defiant campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, acknowledged at a Washington news conference that Sanders staffers had improperly reviewed information gathered by rival Hillary Clinton earlier in the week. But he accused the DNC of overreacting to the breach by suspending the Sanders campaign’s ability to access information it has gathered about its own supporters.

Sanders sues the DNC over suspended access to critical voter list

Well now the mainstream Democrats have some work to do for a change.

Looks like Sanders was set-up and somebody took the bait, or the Hillary Campaign was so sloppy-schlock they just couldn't "prevent" a major computer security breach.

As soon as the "breach" was "detected", the Democratic National Committee immediately barred the Sanders Campaign from any voter data material.

The Sanders Campaign admitted a problem and now has filed a lawsuit against the Democrat Party.

Ironically, Sanders is running for President as a "Democrat".

This infighting will expose a lot of corruption indeed.

This new twist could certainly start that movement.

Next we will see Trump getting set-up and He goes 3rd Party.

Might be cool if neither a BigD or a BigR get enough electoral votes to win the Presidency !!!

It's possible.

Landing at the airport in Manchester ahead of Saturday’s debate, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz said Sanders staffers needed to be “held accountable” for accessing the data and that campaign would not regain access to the system until it agrees to participate in an indepent audit and provides a full accounting of the incident.

“I’m baffled that they haven’t provided it,” she said.

“Certainly the vendor made a mistake. But people make mistakes leaving their front door unlocked also. It doesn’t mean it’s okay to go into their house and steal — and take — their stuff — which is what their campaign staff essentially did,” she added.

Pretty harsh accusation by the DNC chairwoman. You would think the DNC would be a bit more "neutral" in their comments.

Sanders and Trump vary too much is basic ideology for it to ever work. They would not even entertain the idea of running with the other.

For me, this is big news - for two reasons.

The first, which certainly can be elaborated upon, but I'm beat after today - Sanders just got "Ron Paul'd."

Secondly, the hipocrocy here is absolutely astounding. Again, this certainly could be elaborated upon further, but from what I've inferred, this is being considered a "breach."

You mean like when Hilary... there's no point anymore.

For me, personally, this has shown me one thing - Sanders is not "bought and paid for," but hey - it's my opinion, not a sex-toy, don't take it so hard.

I thought politics was a cluster-bomb of ten tons of donkey dookie dropping from a sixty story building already... it just gets even more ridiculous.

It's basically beyond fact now that Hilary, was indeed, the (s)elected Democratic candidate. Conspiracy theorists are again correct.

Now Bernie REALLY isn't going to get the nom. (Not that he was before)

The DNC is doing to Bernie what they did to Ralph Nader, and what the GOP did to Ron Paul. How much money you wanna bet not a damn thing will be done about it as per the usual status quo mantra.

I am no fan of the DNC or Bernie, but he's suing the DNC, might as well run third party now.

Nooooooope. Sanders is a true gentleman and his kindness would offend Trump's feelings far too often.

I would be super interested to see them both run third-party, though.

Looks like Sanders is looking for financial relief as well.

Good fight coming up.

here's a link that apparently has some quotes from the legal papers ....

This is what they’re after:

WHEREFORE Plaintiff Bernie 2016, Inc. respectfully requests that judgment be entered against Defendant DNC Services Corporation:

A. Mandating Defendant’s specific performance of the Parties’ Agreement, and Defendant’s immediate restoration of Plaintiff’s access to the Voter Data system;

B. On the second and third causes of action, for damages in an amount determined to be at trial, but presently known to exceed $75,000.00; and

C. For such other, further and different relief as the Court deems just and proper.

Trump and Sanders are complete extreme polar opposites, that may make for a good balance somewhere in the middle, but in this case it's impossible that a socialist would ever run with a capitalist.

With that said, I don't suppoort either one, but yes seeing them both run 3rd party would be interesting. They have tons of support for some reason, I wonder how the media would deal with that scenario.

In the unlikely event that Sanders actually wins this lawsuit, the DNC is still going to railroad him out of the election.

I'm sure that's why he is suing, there's really nothing to lose, either way he's screwed.

Wasserman-Schultz is harsh, so much so Sanders is right to call for her to step down. He should sue the DNC to have her step down after all this.

"Neutral"? Not at all. That's giving them way to much credit. Good at least people can see that now, as they are no different in corruption than the RNC. Giving Sanders and trump credit for blowing up their BS.

Even if lil Debbie did step down, she's still counting on her appointment in the Clinton administration.

Well finally, Sanders will get some air time on the MSM for once.

No such thing as bad publicity.

Being that she's Hillary's puppeteer, of course. At least the DNC and supporters can see what they are dealing with.
