The US Marine who claims he was captured in Iraq and then wound up in Palistine has now come up missing again.

Cpl. Hassoun left during the holiday leave period on December 23 until Tuesday January 6. He was required to return by noon Tuesday.

Hassoun was declared a deserter Wednesday, a day after not returning for duty at Camp Lejeune.

U.S. Accuses Marine of Desertion Again.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- A Marine charged with desertion in Iraq after mysteriously disappearing from his post has again been declared a deserter - this time for failing to report to his U.S. base.

Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun, who claimed he was abducted by anti-coalition forces in Iraq, was declared a deserter Wednesday, a day after not returning for duty at Camp Lejeune.

Is this man a spy or is he just stupid, some thing is just not right with this story.

This is like a bad made for tv movie, Marine getting captured in battle, then some how turning up at his families home 2 countries away, returned to Marines, and now missing again!

I cant wait to hear his next excuse.
