Trump/Cruz, easy peasy. Don't get me wrong, I think it's an incredibly terrible combo, but Hillary is infinitely worse. Sanders wouldn't be able to get anything done as VP, and if he actually ended up taking the position he would be reneging on his thirty + years of extremely solid principles.

To elaborate further, I'd go for Sanders/Warren in less than a heartbeat, but Hillary is the ultimate dealbreaker for me. I'm not sure I'd go for her if her VP was literally Jesus.

With the ongoing opinion polls, I thought I'd throw this into the mix.

They have to have a veep. What kind of results would emerge from this kind of match-up?

Please abide by all previous polling rules.

I'll try to tabulate after a few pages.

Thank you.

I feel like your trying to shove Hillary down my throat here.

You're thinking of the wrong Clinton.

That was clever!!

Clinton/Sanders

Just to note; I took the top two democrats and top two republicans and paired them for this poll.

I didn't include Warren, or Batman, or Chuck Norris because I wanted this to be as authentic as possible.

Why don't you start that one?

Seriously. it might be interesting.

Everyone knows it's more fun to just stand back and throw rocks.

On a more serious note, When I start a thread, I feel obligated to stay with it and respond to questions or observations made by other posters.

This can be a time consuming venture here on ATS and right now, I've just got too much going on.

Feel free to start the poll yourself if your so inclined. I agree, it could be an interesting one and I'll do my best to participate.

I definitely understand your reasoning for those included in this poll, but make no mistake about it, there is absolutely nothing "authentic" about Hillary Clinton.

I think Clinton/Sanders would win.

Not that I want Clinton, but better than the other choice. I think Americans--at least I hope-- are smarter than letting a loudmouth and a heavy evangelical run the country.

You could flip that to be a loud mouth and a big-time socialist and it would work the same way for Dems. Hilary also is a criminal so I suppose that qualifies her for POTUS more than anyone else.

Trump/Cruz

Our next President needs big balls and I don't see Sanders having them and well...Hillary doesn't have balls to begin with

Rubio/Fiorina vs Clinton/Castro

I seen this when this all started, but I'm no psychic. Just something I feel.

I see Clinton inching a head in a very narrow victory

Others I see coming in as possible VP

Cathy McMorris-Rogers (powerful female in GOP and western republican
Susan Martinez (least likely)
Nikki Haley (got attention after the whole flag tirade)

My vote would be Bernie Sanders as President, and Martin O'maley as vice. Hillary Clinton as a back up choice for vice president.

Republicans are going to be so shocked come this election. They are hoping it will be like the midterm, where only 1/3 of Americans voted.

Thanks to Trump though, all Liberals will be out to vote and that can only mean bad news for Trump and company.

I suppose it has to be Trump / Cruz.

any option with Clinton in it has to fail, surely. I know people are fairly dumb all over the world but there is no way anyone could vote for Clinton. If she gets even one vote I am going to be very disappointed in my American cousins
... of course in Britain we actually voted for CaMORON so I guess we're the dumbest of all.

Unfortunately it looks like Trump / Cruz is the best option, but I wish the people of America, given it leads on a world level, could find a person who was not a complete psychopath to vote for as the best option. You know there was a time when America was looked upon as a somewhat of a beacon for freedom and hope. The constitution and the Bill of Rights together form the greatest political and social blueprint in the history of mankind IMHO, but unfortunately they are just paper now. America is just like another Europe now (run by Europe)
