Hillary would LOVE it if Trump did that. I'm betting she is praying that would happen, because if it does Trump would have effectively gift wrapped the Presidency to the Democrats.

Actually, the reality is that if you look at many polls and average them out, Trump is starting to lose a little ground to Clinton.

Why do you think Hillary is responsible for those hit pieces exactly? I'm pretty sure its just the media in general that is responsible for them. Plus the reason Hillary is loving those numbers is because Hillary (or rather any Democrat) would beat Trump easily in the national election. Trump isn't going to get any minority votes and the simple fact is you need minority votes to win these days. On top of that, Hillary is a minority class herself (being a woman and all).

Of the 28% minority, not all will be voting for the democrats. Not that he's trying, but Trump could win easily without one single minority vote.

I can't believe that conservatives still believe, after TWO elections proving that such a thing is impossible these days, that this could still happen. Well whatever helps you sleep at night. It's sad that you have to tell yourself lies to get to sleep, but hey do you.

I know a bunch of minorities that are wanting to vote for the Trumpster. Not sure why you say he won't be getting any of their votes?

Oh I'm sure a few will vote for him, but he won't get the majority of votes from them and to pretend otherwise is silly.

Here's the thing -
People aren't that stupid.
Most people don't walk around NYC proudly proclaiming their support for Trump (minorities included).

But when they step behind that curtain and punch in their choice for the president - Trump!

I'd say that the number of trump supporters outnumbers the people against trump on ATS. Look at how many people starred the posts disagreeing with me within the last few minutes. But then again that could all be perception bias.

I counted them up to this post... Two. Lol.

No. Minority votes don't win elections of this scale: minority votes coupled with a sizable white vote win elections of this scale. Thats a fact. The white vote is the deal maker or breaker.

The election in 2012 says you are wrong.

Bad Bet: Why Republicans Can’t Win With Whites Alone

This much is undisputed: In 2012, President Obama lost white voters by a larger margin than any winning presidential candidate in U.S. history. In his reelection, Obama lost ground from 2008 with almost every conceivable segment of the white electorate. With several key groups of whites, he recorded the weakest national performance for any Democratic nominee since the Republican landslides of the 1980s.

And if Trump has enough of the latter, Clinton can have all the former she wants and still fall short.

Negative. Obama's elections prove this statement isn't true anymore.

Besides, I think Trump has more support in some 'minority' circles than the media would have you believe.

Where? Just wishing this is the case doesn't make it so.

Are you serious? Are you really saying that the candidate with the most minority vote will win no matter how much of the European American vote the other candidate gets?

In certain communities, yes.
Just like its stupid to say, "guys, I'm just not sure about man made climate change"
or
"I'm pretty sure 911 was an inside job"
or
"why are we supporting ISIS again?"

But you know this, so trollio on

How can you, logically, make any claim as to how anyone other than yourself is going to vote?

We can make some decent guesses based on polling numbers, but to say something like that is just wishful thinking and hope.

Well, down where I live, Trump is no whiter than Clinton is.

And where?

Hell, I am one working class black man, and a lot of his message resonates with me. Down at my barber shop, our old group of folks seem to support him as well. Mainly due to his take no prisoners and never surrender to the PC crap attitude. Plus the fact that love him or hate him, he is a pretty damned successful dude.

Yeah, a lot of my folks can respect that. Now, we may not be as enlightened as the lilly white lefties, but we are smart enough to know the media would LOVE for all non-whites to hate on the man.

(Granted, my barber shop ain't exactly a scientific sampling, lol)

Political correctness has really damaged this country, and to a point so extreme that Trump has built nearly his entire campaign off of it because most of us are willing to take the bad as long as he keeps PC in a stranglehold. Progressive values and liberalism have proven to be a thorn in the silent majority's side.

I know that is is stupid to express those sentiments because they are founded on ignorance, sensationalism, and lies. Though you can interpret that as being stupid to say because of ridicule if you want.

No I'm saying that your previous statement that Trump can carry the election with the white votes alone is no longer a reality in this country.

Almost everyone I know is a Trump supporter. The few who arent are Bernie fans.

A lot can happen before elections, but at this point, I would vote for Trump over what Ive seen so far from the other candidates.

Same here... The only one I know that isn't a Trump supporter is one of the Mexicans that are here to speak to the Mexican inmates at the company I work for. And she didn't even know who Cruz, Carson, or Sanders were. She only knew Trump and Hillary. Kind of telling.

And you believe it is logical to claim you know how "most" people are going to vote?

Have you talked to "most" people yourself? Are "most" people in your smartphone and you talk to "most" of them often enough to know how they are going to vote?

Perhaps you're friends with "most" people on FB and you can tell how they are going to vote by their posts?

Please educate me on how you know.

WoW. this video is pretty impressive, escpecially towards the end!

What they state about Obama....

Also a great point, " I don't believe there would be a Trump candidacy, IF there were not an Obama Presidency"

I have to agree 100%... on that

Your personal anecdotal stories are not indicators of how an election will go. There is a reason the media conducts actual polls instead of asking the guy down the street how the people he knows are going to vote.

Well, this is spot on as well in my community. -

Thought- remember, Obama was/is First Since ’56 to Win 51% Twice- I said that to say this-

How many Millennial AND how many new voters are able to vote in this election that grew up on reality shows; I think that if anyone should be scared/worried it would be Billery... JUST SAYING; I work with many 'younger" Millennial Generation
Generation Y) kiddos 'nationally' and the vast majority are going Trump.....

He has a very good chance as the ratings reflect

Hillary has been doing her best to pull the popularity of obama, which was ONLY because he's black, and she's failing miserably. We'll see if she plays the gender card against Bernie like obama played the race card against her in 2008. I can remember headlines everywhere saying the Clintons were racist, lol. Now she's their front runner.
