This is interesting. I will say that my daughter and I are both diagnosed as on the autistic spectrum, and neither I nor my mother were on antidepressants during our pregnancies. Although my mom smoked and drank a few beers (it was the 70's after all).

This could be a factor though in the increase in children on the autistic spectrum though. I really do look askance on SSRI's. Chancy business.

I know, that I'm going to get many haters for mentioning MJ as a way out for the pregnant women, but considering the research cases it seems to cause fewer problems than many of the known antidepressants. undepress.net...
