Multiple news outlets reported that ISIS militants killed 38 children who were disabled or had Down syndrome, but the claim was not verified.

FYI, as some people don't know what Down's Syndrome is.

It is a chromosomal abnormality in chromosome 21 - trisomy 21. The defective gene duplicates itself, or there are two.
It is caused by an aging ova. (being the egg in the female) - so it mostly occurs in older women.

Children with DS have been systematically killed in various cultures for a very long time, and almost always in ancient times.

Since we already have news and videos from ISIS killing hundreds of children (without a disability), snopes is not convincing. Who is snopes?

However the footage is believed to have filmed in late August 2014 and the victims are prisoners of war who were caught by ISIS after the jihadi group overran the Assad held Tabqa airbase in Syria.

Sick and disturbing to say the least to define this fascism. Sure it could be propaganda but as being seen there' s no need to have to drum people for support against Daesh as they they do fine exposing themselves.

The Ottoman Empire's Sultans even had preteen boy slaves too. Should we just leave it alone because it's gone on for so long? It's systematic emotional and physical abuse coming from Daesh that then kills homosexual men who may have been influenced(if not born that way or both) by the abuse but are stoned and killed for being a homosexual adult.

What happened to all the democracy being pushed in the ME in the past years? Recall parts of the ME that weren't extremists havens, now are, where women weren't treated as second class, children tortured, etc. That's "not what we're supposed to do" then why were troops there in the first place while claiming for democracy when in fact the areas regressed from non extremists to the IState.

Should we not support freedom as long it's not hurting anyone else especially children? It's about time they come into the rest of the modern world and stop this inhumanity. Same for when it happens in Western nations where it's kept hushed up.

Fascinating. According to the mainstream Muslim people, Islam if a religion of peace, tolerance and equality.

I'd hate to see it when they're actually upset...

The information coming out of what Daesh is up to may not be correct, although its easy to believe it because of their murderous behaviour.

Also there is a lot of information about why Downs occurs whereby one opinion contradicts the next e.g. elderly mothers / elderly mothers is a myth etc.

What we do know is that ironically it can be passed through to the baby by both mother or father so genetically Daesh members mayn't be so happy about their personal responsibility (if we are being Daesh about it).

What perhaps is beginning to come to light though is the pollution of modern warfare in areas where Daesh is hanging out and what contribution that is making to a society where in the past it has been alright for first cousins to marry each other. Until Daesh ideals die out nothing can be done about it.
