Amazingly, there was a plot leak back in June, that is (according to the plot synopsis from those seeing the premiere) is about 95% or more right on the money. Laid out the entire plot of the movie, and even other names of leads, etc. I'll keep this post spoiler free though.

I loved it. Won't post spoilers, but it was really good, especially considering the huge expectation that it had to face.
There's a few really interesting female characters in it, which I appreciated.
The only thing is that it leaves us hanging and hungry for the next movie.

I really enjoyed it. There was a few things I didn't like so much and there was a very definite wtf moment with the main protagonist where everybody in the cinema went "huh?" but overall it was great. I'd definitely watch it again.

This movie is on par with Empire (I know blasphemy!) its just that good, and like Empire its not perfect, far from it, but its the humour and how they capture that old magic again. I think its a testament to just how amazing this movie is that I found the new characters just as interesting as the legends of old.

Yeah, there was that moment, that was not ever explained, was it?
Makes you think it might be explained in the next one, maybe?

My wife and son saw it tonight. I'm coughing up blood with a healthy case of pneumonia so I got to stay home.

It was worth it, according to both of them.

So I would recommend seeing it.

Just got back from the cinema after seeing it in 3d (of all the 3d films i've seen it's by far the best) and the best way I can describe it without spoiling anything is in a short sentence

I went to watch a star wars film (not including the prequels) and I watched a star wars film

It's going to be a while before I see it - work/holidays - waiting for other people to be ready to go see it but I can't see it without them!

So, I do not get to participate in all the cool kid threads until later

Exhilaration - and despair...

:-)

Divorce him.

Simple.

Two reason, firstly you should not hat to ask his permission to do anything and secondly renting a movie like Star Wars is like getting in a F1 race car and driving below the speed limit.

I am glad I haven't seen it.

As popular Star Wars is. I bet the theatre are packed with too many loud obnoxious people.

Like Mama It's been over 15 years since I have been to one.

I prefer online streaming.

You need to suck it up and brave the crowds. You could wait a week or two for the crowds to thin out. This movie deserves to be seen on the big screen. Not better than Empire, but it's up there. Really excited for the next two installments.

That big screen doesn't do much good when people are constantly getting up in front of you.

Then coming back. Then doing it all over again.

Come to think of it. Most of my theatre experience has been bad.

I want to see.

Just not in any rush.

It was very good and very much a Star Wars movie and genuinely had my emotions going and I was very excited and thrilled.
It wasn't perfect but way better than prequels and was a great ride and experience
I will probably go again.
