I just happen to find it fascinating that the power in our society seems to mirror the metaphor of a pyramid with power concentrated at the top.

That's not what it depicts though. It's an eye, high up, watching over us all (with 13 steps for 13 colonies).

Do those words vibrate at a different rate or not?
Not.

Are you saying they dont exist?
No. I'm saying that it is purile and superstitious to think that power comes from symbols.

So they have the exact same frequency?? Phage I have been a member here for many years and lurked for many more.... I appreciate your opinion in scientific matters, but sometimes you are wrong... It takes a bigger man to admit it. Words have meaning and a frequency.. As do symbols.. They are energetic ... you being a man of science surely understands that concept.

Are you saying they dont exist?
No. I'm saying that it is purile and superstitious to think that power comes from symbols.

Whether or not you and I believe they hold power t,here is a massive amount of people that do.... My perosnal opnion is ,it is the people themsleves that give the energy to symbolism... I mean just look at all the major religions......

ps... You are not always right...only 95 % of the time lol

Neither. But if you had to choose, I think you would lean heavily on Freud.

He's the cigar guy, right?

Yep. But he also said something along the lines of "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".

Phage....Do words not hold a certain energy. A frequency ....Of course...

No, actually, they don't. Do you know what frequency means? I suspect not.

SO as do symbols... but you know that anyway...There are lots of groups both religious and polititical that hold symbols as sacred.

Symbols are meaningful only as the observer relates them to something. They are nothing by themselves. And no, they don't have energy or frequency or waves, or quantum or vibrations. Or fields.

I beg to differ....You being of a scientific standpoint ...as am I

Apparently not.

Unfounded , volume has nothing to do with energy output......You know I am not talking about voice. I am talking about the vibration of words.... for example love and hate... Do those words vibrate at a different rate or not?

No, he's exactly right. Energy of sound is directly related to the volume. Sound is the vibration of air. Words do not have special vibrations in any way. By the way, the 'new age' definition of vibration is, of course, meaningless.

Words by themselves have no vibrations, because they're just words. You can enunciate them at different tones, so of course, it's all up to how you say them. That's called timbre, and pitch. But it's not a quality of the word so much as the person or device emitting the sound.
