Also depending on your interpretation of God I'd argue that. Some seem to think your God believes in torturing people for eternity for simply not believing. I can think nothing more atrocious than that. Where do you fall in your belief? Is your God an unforgiving monster that feels an eternity of torture is a justifiable recourse for well anything ever or at all?

But no, is not a God, I certainly don't worship aliens if the exist anymore than I worship the military who has technological superiority over myself.

Addendum: And they rely on technology. As such, even the most advanced technology goes wrong now and then. By your estimate, they've been here a long time. Given enough time, enough ships, enough time, some ship somewhere will crash.

You forget, they're people, not infallible gods. Is technology, which no matter how advanced is prone to error now and then. Traveling the stars does not give them the super power to be without fault. Developing the technology to travel the stars, does not magically make their technology perfect and immune to fault.

As for superior, the only thing I said would be necessarily superior about them is their tech. Same as our tech would be superior to neanderthals could we go back and meet them.

The Malevolent don't need superior technology....they seem to be opening dark portals in the minds of humanity merely through the written word well enough.

There was a time when such writings were reserved only for the Priestly Classes, and written lore of this nature was forbidden into the hands of the common man and woman. I dare say I understand why. Far too many who read such words tend to develop a god complex by professing their interpretations - and their interpretations alone - are the ultimate truth and authority.

I used to muse over scripture, and in dong so, on occasion, experienced a multitude of odd visions whilst doing such. I have seen the printed word waver and become sinister and foreboding, while the kind and loving gospels remains still and pure. Seeing such spoke volumes to me.

Perhaps we have no need to "higher technological advancements" when the imaginative and creative nature of mankind is so willingly open and mislead by something as simple as printed characters on a page. It is what we do with our readings and words that has effect most, and sadly....there are those who will scream and shout...and even kill over the Word even though the Commandments tell us not to.

The word of God cannot be changed...but I daresay there are more people who added to that work than we openly acknowledge, and many become ensnared in the riddles and trickery that lies therein.

As far as an Exo-Theological position on this issue...there are good, there are bad, there are all manner in-between.

We should focus on what we deal with directly during our spiritual progress, and not worry about that which does not directly concern us.
