Oh, that sucks. While this isn't excusable by any means, the key differences here is that his words were immediately condemned by the organization and I doubt you will see liberals pop up in this thread defending him.

We can't allow this to be a trend. There is no excuse and I would hope his words are condemned universally by all Americans. Talk about an ironic message to send.

So stupid.

No, but liberals are comparing Trump to Hitler, and yet, no one is crying that Hitler is dead.

except the socialist democrats with the nationalist slant.

If all ACLU people are left wing "somethings" then does that mean right wingers do not believe in civil liberties?

The right believes in less government and more freedom of your civil liberties as an individual. The left has done a good job of obfuscating that fact and in fact is a bone of contention.

So no Muslims in America. no brainwashed Muslims then for the terrorists. Yay. (gives muslim world a chance to kindle) The non extrimist and extrimist muslims will see how much love and respect there is for their culture and way of live through the internet and media.

Ok so get this. The positive side of trump's decision is that the muslim world and terrorists will see people respect and see good in the muslims. The terrorists will see America is stopping muslims coming to America. That is good news for the terrorists because then their people won't be brainwashed by non-sensical western culture which is not compliant with the beauty of the eastern world (which we want as a planet).

And also terrorists will see that America has 'given up' with the terror threats and gone for a peaceful ultimatum (which is good, no combat -great! No more innocent loss of life and vaporised children in the east).

Also this 'negativity' that has given positivity to extremists has also saved the UK from powerful vendettas from terrorists (because we decided to bomb ISIS and kill innocent children over the Paris bombings), making the world look to trump's decision and what i have said, instead the looming terror threat from the retaliation from Paris has turned to interest for the terrorists and open hearts and eyes for non extremists Muslims seeing how the world does have a lot of love to give.

The eastern world is beautiful and has a lot of poignant truths about our specie and life on Earth with its beauty and power.

I have edited my post.

Sorry. I can write properly just when you have a holistic correct picture, to write it out with a sense of urgency and excitement can make the hollistic picture in your head turn sour. So i had no time to write concisely.

Jon from your mouth to God's ears! I hope this is going to be true about using peace to stop their war on us. I hope that love will eventually win the day. Meanwhile we have seen the ISIS/ISIL movement be called a cancer by some one from the WH yesterday. That cancer spread to SB for sure and to the sick nut jobs on the left who want to treat people like me, who are pointing out straight common sense, as if we were in the KKK. Those people hated people and claimed the bible told them too, just as the Jihadist do the Koran. The logic is we have to stop, for a while at least, the bringing of anyone into our countries from that demographic mindset like we had to do in the major wars of the past. It is for our children's future that i would err on the side of caution.

Looks like Colorado Springs police are letting him slide...

Wirbel did not respond to a request for comment. He is from Colorado Springs and police there say his post is covered by free speech and they do not intend to investigate.

So if Colorado Springs is saying that public advocacy of shooting Trump supporters in 'protected Free Speech'...

Does that mean if he threatened shooting Planned Parenthood supporters, Muslims or Hillary supporters, in Colorado Springs it is also just protected Free Speech?

Seriously, this doesn't make sense.

So if I called on everyone to kill Bernie supporters, I'd be covered under free speech?

(for the record, I don't want anyone to kill Bernie supporters, there'd be no one to flip burgers)

I know. Are people in Colorado Springs HIGH or something?

I'd consider it free speech if he had said, "I wish all Trump supporters would die".

But isn't it broadcasting a threat when he specifically requests people to shoot Trump supporters?

Learn something new every day!

The president receives more death threats than an president in history, and not all of them are rounded-up and set to jail. You do have the right to say whatever you like with free speech protection as long as you are not considered an actual threat.

People threaten Muslims and Hillary on social media sites daily and they are not being rounded-up either.

Yes, that would be considered free speech. But at the same time you can be held liable if someone acted upon your call to violence.

By the way, is there something wrong with people that flip burgers for a living? Are they beneath you?

So if someone kills a Trump supporter (like me) then this guy could still be held liable, after the fact.

I have nothing against burger flippers. I like burgers. And I would never wish death on any supporter of a politician. I may hope that every Bernie supporter gets Irritable Bowel Syndrome on election day, but that's the extent of my avarice.

Yeah. This guy is (WAS) an actual ACLU board member.
I don't what his right wing counterpart would be...but I doubt very much he or she has been telling people to kill Hillary supporters.

We have such a short memory. Sorry but the right wingers make threats as well. This was the last election, remember all the "we came unarmed, this time" posters?

If it can be proven that is what motivated you to act, yes. I do believe he could be held accountable for inciting violence.

I don't know why you'd kill any of his supporters anyway, you need to cut off the head to kill the snake. If anything, I'd advocate for Hillary instead. That woman gives me S-class bad vibes.

At the tips, both wings of the eagle are completely insane. The left wing is just a bit more... Subtle.

I don't think I'd want to be on the record advocating for anything of the sort, no matter the politician.

This is crazy.

I've never gotten myself so worked up over U.S. politics to think about hurting anyone. WTH?

It seems to me that the left is more interested in hating on Trump than supporting either Sanders or Clinton. It's all getting so old.
