No, because if you read my OP it's much more than that.

Why do Trump supporters grasp at so many straws to support Trump's xenophobic ideas? Just own them. I thought y'all were trying to buck political correctness? So why are you caving to it? Just admit it's xenophobic already.

For quite a lot of the world race is more then the colour of your skin.
And they would be entirely wrong.
Religion is a choice. It's learned behavior.

I guess Jimmy Carter is a right wing racist.
How does a complete break in diplomatic relations, in response to the hostage crisis, translate to racism?
While I don't support Trump's statements; his rationale is so very different from Carter's at that point in history.

Yea. It's a weird double standard. It's like deep down they understand that these ideas really ARE bigoted and hateful, so they have to distract all conversations away from labeling them as such. It really makes them look hypocritical though.

I don't think it was that different. None of the hostages were killed, and they were in Iran. There were people who were killed by Muslims in this counrtry. IMO, Carter was just as bad as Trump, for those that are trashing Trump. The libs were just as bad 35 years ago, not only in words but in actions. Carter cut immigration for innocent Iranians and deported innocent Iranian college students.

If you want to support a xenophobic ideal, that is perfectly fine within the Constitution, but you guys aren't fooling anyone by trying to come up with all these justifications on why these policies are bigoted or xenophobic.

What most people view as bigoted and xenophobic, some view as preserving the safety of US citizens. It's funny that there are some Muslims who agree with Trump, so I guess some Muslims are bigoted and xenophobic against other Muslims like the imam who says he was forcd to resign because he agrees with Trump. www.fox4beaumont.com... .shtml

But even that is fundamentally xenophobic.

First off Trump isn't going to ban all Muslims
Well lets hope thats true, lets hope he the republicans see sense and drop him.
There not going to drop him and he has a good chance of winning.
At the end of the day, Trump is playing the media and it's working. He gets tons of free media everytime he says something.
It's amazing to me how liberals say Hillary Clinton will easily beat Trump and if Trump wins the Democrats will win the House and Senate yet they're working overtime to defeat Trump now.
That makes no sense.

When was the last time you heard someone support the internment camps. They are a dark stain on America's history and you will be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks FDR was in the right.
