And as bad as obama is, he is not the lowest the bar can sink in term as bad leaders. You will find out it can get much much worse if you dont wake up and smell the BS from trump.

I disagree, you didn't have to live here under his 8 years... Obama's first job was college, his second was politics at least with Trump and others they actually done something else in life they were successful at and helped them achieve good skill sets like how to work with others and fix the economy.

Bollocks

Obama was a bad president but US citizens still have a higher standard of living and more freedom than 99% of the world, only 10 countrys probably have it better.

Look at what countrys 10 years after voteing in fascists end up looking like? Germany, Italy and Japan in 1945 would have begged for the standard of living and freedom you have now......

If you want look at how bad things can get look at places in south America, look at Africa, cambodia, russia ect. You have it easy.

Obama was a bD president but your no were near to rock bottom.

I should add that this title and mindset is congruent with ATS thread entitled 'Why NOT Stop Muslims .'

sure, why not!

Last week 20 of my neighbors were shot a 14 killed.

Why not ?

No too long ago an alleged Right Wing Christian nut killed a few people at a Planned Parenthood.

Should we stop Christians as well?

If they are a threat to my family...Yes

Although, comparing those two shootings is a stretch.

Violence is violence. We should treat everyone equally, even our terrorists.

YA, this comment right here is why folks are going to vote for trump.

Because of brain dead "we can all be friends" BS that is totally blind to the reality, that these people dont even rocognise your imaginary world, or its rules.

They live by the only true laws in the world.

The laws of nature.

The strong can take from the weak, the weak will suffer what they must.

This country was not founded on, nor does it run on, the principles of Darwinism. That is what makes us better than the terrorists.

Trump gets the attention he does because he taps in to what a very large portion of this nation actually feels and believes. Despite what the ridiculous media tries to portray, Trump has broad appeal that reaches across most age or racial barriers.

He taps in to feeling and beliefs that are blowback from decades of leftist manipulation and control. It was inevitable that at some point, the leftist noose was going to snap.

This 'fear' some associate with Trump is the fear of a paradigm shift AWAY from leftist control. The ones afraid are the ones who detest and despise Trump. Trump is cutting through the BS and shattering the media stranglehold on society and it is truly terrifying the sheepish mass collective. Look at the responses from some of the bastions of tolerance on this very message board! Hell, some are surely packing for Canada as we speak. Good.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are ready to change this failed lefty-land into something better, bolder...and yeah, great again.

Except you conveniently leave out the fact that the planned parenthood shooter was a lone wolf with mental problems.

Violence is violence.

He does not have an entire world wide network of terrorists and sympathizers who indoctrinate, train, enable

Yes he does. It's called Right Wing media and propaganda.

To treat those two threats the same is ludicrous.

To treat only one as a threat and not the other is ludicrous.

oh, sorry....

Jeb....the neocons never released control with Obama in the WH. The real power players don't need to stand out and Trumpet their control. All this sound and fury ala the Donald is just theater. Entertaining as hell too!

It won't be that much fun when our boys are once again brought home in body bags to the sorrowful tune of Taps.

So if two kids get in a scrap in a school yard we should treat them like terrorists. It is violence after all.

Yes he does. It's called Right Wing media and propaganda.

Right wing media and propaganda? Does that even exist in a media controlled by the left? And if it does, please show me where they indoctrinate, train, enable, and fund terror attacks. A lone wolf with mental issues is not representative of the entire christian population, or even 1% of it. You know that comparison is bs and so does everyone else.

Why is it that liberals are so good at detecting others motives, no matter how vague they may be, yet they cant seem to grasp the muslim terrorist agenda even when they make no effort to conceal it?

Cutting sentences apart so you can respond to short phrases is disingenuous. Editing my comments to make it possible to respond is a straw man tactic and only serves to prove my point.

What exactly has Trump accomplished though that you believe he's an appropriate leader? The multiple corporate bankruptcies maybe that demonstrate his ability to run his finances properly? Maybe the fact that he didn't build himself up from nothing and started everything with his fathers money? Or perhaps it's his deft investment abilities? See, if he had taken his fathers initial cash infusion and just put it in solid mutual funds, he would have more money than he does now after years as a "successful businessman" where multiple poor decisions have cost people their jobs every time he has declared bankruptcy. This guy has never once lived the life of an "average American". He has no idea what the actual populace he wishes to govern has to deal with on a day to day basis. The mirage of the non-politician is just that, a mirage. Back room deals in corporate America are exactly what goes on in the halls of congress. He's just as experienced as anyone who has had a career on Capital Hill. Aside from his xenophobic memes, trump hasn't demonstrated any actual plan to fix anything.

I'm not a Trump fan and I'm not going to vote for him, my point was all of them have done more than Obama's "community organizer" (what the hell does that mean anyway). My post was about Obama and that I do not see anyone running being that bad.

I'm confused. Why shouldn't we speak the truth? Trump's rhetoric is all about playing on people's fear. Some will say "anger", but that anger is generated by their fear.

"Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to the Dark Side." - Yoda

I want someone that can see the problem, address it with We The People without smooth-talking vague pandering language, and formulate a solution within the parameters of our constitution. I want someone that is not in the pocket of their big money donors. I want someone who will choose common sense approaches without being fearful of stepping on all the toes of all the American crybabies that have developed over the last few decades.

People will tell you to vote for Sanders or Clinton because it promotes their agenda.

It's the season for political insanity.

I like Trump because he is forcing hard discussions. He's not afraid of talking about issues that people really care about.

Don't know if I'll vote for him, but he does bring a lot to the table.
