Christian Extremism and Terrorism in the USA.

i have zero doubt that if you took off the leash
christians would be just as bad as muslims as far as committing acts of atrocity

the only reason they dont is because they feel they couldnt get away with it

(we have a system of laws and more importantly enforcement of those laws that would ensure they would be held responsible and their "movement" would be crushed by the federal heel
the united states actually has the resources to quell such movements
as well as a political structure that ensures these movements do not become endemic to the system itself
something lacking in most middle eastern countries)

even with these protections there is frequent rhetoric and even attempts at legislation to make it a reality

One has only to look at the hijackers of the Republican party to see the truth. Extremist Evangelicals are calling for the dismantling of freedom of religion every day!
They know religion is losing its foothold, and it "scares" them. However this nonsense of "testing immigrants" and forming "youth oriented" programs (Trumps idea BTW) Smacks of similar programs started by Hitler...remember him? Unless we prevent the flood of money into the pockets of our politicians, we are doomed to see very tyrannical legislation being passed that will harm EVERYONE'S freedom to worship or not worship.
