To illustrate the law. There is no reasonable expectation of privacy while on a public street of whatever legal term they use to define "being outside".

ETA That is not to say jamming a camera in some peoples faces will not generate an emotional response but that is another matter entirely.

Right. In one case we have an individual harassing another individual specifically. I consider this assault and would respond accordingly. A surveillance camera in a bank is hardly the same thing. First, it isn't targeting me specifically. Secondly, it is completely inanimate, and thirdly, it will never even be looked at by anyone and the tape written over unless there is a robbery. One is offensive, the other defensive. If the guy is trying to make the point that the two are the same, then epic fail. Of course, it's a little unclear. It may be just for entertainment.

It is clear what the point is in the video, a little bit extreme, I agree, but the governments are doing this type of thing secretly times zilion and on a broader scale.

OK. Why would you go looking for people to piss off. Its not like they were triggered by the GOV to get mad, whoever stuck the camera 2 inches from the guys face is the reason this action occurs. nothing else, I would react the exact same way, you are invading there personal space, a huge difference than Gov spying.

Good way to get your lights knocked out. Really recording these people don't prove anything but invade their personal space and antagonizing them without giving them a reason. STUPID!

Comparing this to public surveillance and security cameras is not the same. People expect security cameras are monitoring them while in stores or in public. They don't expect an idiot with a camera getting in their face following them down the street recording them just to get a pissed off reaction so they can post it on YouTube.

I'd slap the cam to the ground, hopefully destroying it.

Government is not "doing the same thing."

I've never in my life had somebody from the government shove a camera inches from my face, let alone do their level best to keep it there.

There is a thing called personal space and if mine is invaded.....you will get an ear full from me along with a few choice words to go along with it.

That's just how I am...I frigging hate being filmed or having my picture taken as it is but, if you get in my face with a camera, I will likely knock it away from my face as an instinct.

Total jack hole in my opinion.

This is not evidence of electronic harassment, it is evidence that some people are jerks and think they are being funny. It won't be funny when they get beat up, stabbed or shot because they did it to the wrong person. This also has nothing to do with government surveillance. Unless someone has been living under a rock, they are quite aware of it.
