I am glad this was a run of the mill robbery and not another terrorist attack.

I'm not sure if it's the mall scene but an officer just requested medical attention for two people.

Announced that suspects were dressed in dark hoodies and did not appear to be armed. Smashing glass was reported as gunshots but none were fired.
Beginning to lock down the crime scene.

Announced to begin clearing civilians from the mall. Bringing in a bloodhound?....am I hearing that right?

Sorry didn't hear. I'm listening to police try to figure out what kind of vehicle they got away in.

So. No shooter period????

Several people took to social media, where they described the episode as a shooting or an armed robbery, but the head of a neighboring police agency said reports of a shooting were erroneous.

“Officers were called to Riverside Incident as a mutual aid – shooting call. Shooting unfounded,” San Bernardino police Chief Jarrod Burguan said on Twitter.

Jeez... How many does that make in two weeks? Can this end, please?

Robberies?

Around 14,000 using the rough estimate of around a 1000 per day according to FBI statistics.

Where I live, malls close on Sundays at 6pm. Seems that's the local time there when this started. Maybe hoped for less people around for the robbery. I have to say, the media has done a great job with the propaganda narrative because those 2 words "active shooter" fill ya with dread.

well, is is the xmas holiday season, they usually have longer hours during the holidays

From their chatter it seems that they're going to try and track the suspects' route out of the mall.
And getting crime scene secured and everyone else to the first level.
They're trying to help some people who barricaded themselves out...

What a mess. I'm guessing they are still clearing for safety measures?

It seems they're still trying to get the upper floor residents down to the first level. Some store employees are still barricaded and trying to get out.

An armed robbery at Riverside mall, could turn uglyyyyy

It has been a long time since I have been to Riverside, but Riverside is pretty ghetto. I don't know about that specific mall, but most malls in that part of the U.S. are open until 9 on Sundays normally. The often stay open until 10 for summer and holiday hours.

Apparently they were armed with sledgehammers. No one injured. Suspects escaped.
The sound of them smashing the display cases in the jewelry store was reported as gunshots initially.
