So I know about star and flag to show respect and support
Is there a thumbs down capability
So I can give feedback on rude posts or members who try to insult and distract
Without providing value to discussions?

It could help mods know the feeling the community as a whole has for certain members

No, you can report the post if you feel they are rude beyond the T&C, or just made a post and let know your position on the issue

No, there is no "thumbs down" type of set up here.

If you feel that a fellow ember is being rude or insulting, use the Alert button to notify us, and we'll take a look at it.

No, and there's been threads about this.

ATS is more about positive feedback than negative. If you have a problem with something that's said, use the alert button by click on the little "man" on a member's name/avatar and click alert.

Frankly, if a member isn't violating T&C the mods aren't going to care if "nobody likes them."

Every downvote is a vote for conformity.

ATS is a coalition of minorities.
Once you allowed negative feedback, every post would get swamped with disapproval.
