Ummm...have you ever lived through one of those days where all colors bled into a consistent grey haze...


No proclamation


The uneventful days were finally slain
We bid them never return
Return not again to this forlorn shore
where hope had never raised it's promised head

No

Boredom swallowed full
this puerile season
Connive as we might
We could not cause it to spew us into adventure

Still

All great things
must wane to only good
Only good
The day that cast it's cloak of non remembrance
over field and furrow

That had no proclamation
None to trumpet weft or warp
No voice ever spoke so vacuous a pall
that only silence heard

Such a masterful lack
claimed attention for it's own
As the absinthe clarity fell victim
to an inebriate outflow
of excess


Wipes remnants from chin and stares long into the green...pondering...

Ummm...hello Light Star...I think I must have been bored to tears when I wrote this...I was imagining what it might be like to consume essence of wormwood...I think I'll buy some Absinthe when I go out next time and see if it really does clarify insight...or just leave one drunk with a numb throat from the nerve toxin in the wormwood extract...

I hear it tastes like a strong bitter...

Ummm...thank you Jenny...I've been curious...what does the frenzy part of your screen name refer to...?

I guess the old word smith bug does bite on occasion...hopefully I never get allergic to it...although that could be a good thing...

We all need to get a little wild and spazzy every fortnight or so...just to stay in practice...
