that that more Americans have been killed by home grown terrorists than Islamic ones? This is how she propaganda spreads by grabbing at the emotions of otherwise intelligent people and making them fearful of all Muslims.

"Yesterdays moderate are today's terrorists" umm how does that work? It obviously wasn't a moderate Muslim who killed these marines but a radical Muslim.

Why is it so hard for people like her to understand the difference?

Well, that's the thing. The dude used to be a moderate Muslim--then something changed (ie. he got into something and then ended up marrying his terrorist wife--probably after he became radicalized). I do not understand these terrorists. They all have these evil-looking messed up eyes. I have no idea what must happen to make them like that.

You know how people get all political over b.s. political cartoons and ads and stuff? Maybe it's similar for the same types of people with the terrorists' propaganda. People who don't use logic and just follow emotions. And ironically, it's the same type of people who are saying we should have more gun control (when the shootings happen on the scale that they happen, because of gun control) who are against calling the terrorists, terrorists. And who are the reason why the terrorists' neighbor was afraid to call the cops to report them. It's the same kind of thing, I think. So, yeah, mob psychology is pretty potent and it can do a number of very bad things. Groupthink is strong. There's your answer.

So while all Muslims aren't bad, there is a definite element of badness within them as a whole due to these extremists that are out and about right now. Everyone has evil in them--so no, you shouldn't be afraid of or hate Muslims. But it's not bad to be extra careful of them at the moment, because it's just logical given what's going on in the world right now. They hate the radical Muslims, too. So I'd think that they'd probably be alright with being scrutinized if they're doing nothing wrong. I was watching this BBC interview with some dude who just escaped Raqqa, and he was saying that anyone attacking the terrorists is a good thing. Of course, he's worried about civilians--but there's a larger problem of the militants. Unfortunately, these evil people have endangered those around them who are innocent.

Also, no, the "home grown terrorists" in many cases were inspired by terrorists. Even indirectly. The point is, anyone could be a terrorist--so you have to be careful and if you see something weird, you report it to the authorities so that maybe we can avoid some future tragedy.

How about everyone stops calling them terrorists and just call them murderers and organized criminals. Who gives a # if they're religious, just prosecute them and start doing background checks on immigrants.

It's not rocket science, its not some new found wisdom. Just start enforcing the laws we already have before another Patriot Act is born.

Cute blonde.

She's trying desperately to build up her résumé so she can join Fox News.
Hopefully the fumes of her bi-monthly peroxide treatments won't kill any more of her brain cells.

Now where is the mute button.

She is spot on. Now she's probably on one of the regime's Watch Lists and can't buy a firearm

If you're going to demand the label terrorist stop being used, why would we then apply "organized crime" to them?

Does that name scare you less?

What's wrong with the line you specifically quoted? A Muslim who was not radicalized, ergo moderate, didn't kill four Marines. One who had previously been moderate but became radicalized killed them.

Seems she's not the one who can't tell the difference in the two here.

I just think criminals should be punished based the laws they violate, not by their motives. Call them what you want, but don't let those labels become political tools of manipulation.

Terrorism isn't just a label, it's a crime. It's codified in the US Code. So they are called terrorists because that's the laws they break.

That code needs to be revised. That's like hate crime laws. Why should a political murder be distinguished from any other murder?

Yes people like her, the ones who cannot seem to distinction between moderate and radicalized Muslims.

Pot meet kettle does not apply here, because I am talking about ignorant people like her and that could apply to anyone not just certain groups where as she is targeting specific people.

It's pretty obvious that you'd believe she was spot on because apparently you're both suffering a politically induced disconnect from reality. She actually just said, "you're probably safer over there than you are here."

Irrational much people?

I guess I should have included the whole line "radical Islam is becoming the rule and not the exception and that yesterday's moderate is today's terrorist". She is basically saying there are no such thing as a moderate Muslim and that radical Islam rules all Muslims.

Sorry but she is wrong about Radical Islam being the rule. If it were true then the billion and more Muslims would be attacking daily in North America and Europe..killing hundreds of thousands if not millions on a daily basis.

It was a figure of speech that emphasizes the horror of what is happening in our country right here on our soil. Surely you are not that dense.

Islam is a creepy religion when a person can be living a seemingly moderate muslim existence, going to mosque, going to work, holding down a government job for years, socializing with people at work that throw him and his wife a baby shower, then start building bombs and i.e.d.'s and just walk in one day and kill all those people. Moderate one day...radical the next. Creepy.

Actually she is ignorant in everything she says. Also would like to know how the US would be able to distinguish between civilian and ISIS when bombing the hell out of them?
