OK, we are starting to get a picture of why they did not release the shooters names until CAIR (Muslim Brotherhood) was ready to make a Press Release. I am starting a new thread on this as some members were commenting about this on the main thread which is for updates.

On Twitter, San Bernardino terrorist Syed Rizwan Farook followed several accounts associated with Muslim Brotherhood, including the official accounts of Free Syrian Army and the Syrian Revolution Network.

PJMedia’s Patrick Poole found that, while Farook never seemed to tweet from this account, several of the 11 accounts he followed were institutional Twitter accounts with ties to large Islamic organizations in America which have controversial histories and ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and other Islamist movements.

It is significant that Farook followed what many in American media would call “mainstream” Islamic organizations, rather than some of the more notorious ISIS-affiliated social media feeds. While these groups have the patina of respectability and often condemn terrorist events in the United States, many rationalize terrorism abroad as legitimate resistance or have, as their goal, the implementation of Islamic law in America.

Obama secretly backing Muslim Brotherhood

President Obama and his administration continue to support the global Islamist militant group known the Muslim Brotherhood. A White House strategy document regards the group as a moderate alternative to more violent Islamist groups like al Qaeda and the Islamic State.

The policy of backing the Muslim Brotherhood is outlined in a secret directive called Presidential Study Directive-11, or PSD-11. The directive was produced in 2011 and outlines administration support for political reform in the Middle East and North Africa, according to officials familiar with the classified study.

Efforts to force the administration to release the directive or portions of it under the Freedom of Information Act have been unsuccessful.

White House National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan declined to comment on PSD-11. “We have nothing for you on this,” she said.

The directive outlines why the administration has chosen the Muslim Brotherhood, which last year was labeled a terrorist organization by the governments of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates as a key vehicle of U.S. backing for so-called political reform in the Middle East.

The UAE government also has labeled two U.S. affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society, as terrorist support groups.

Cruz bill would designate Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist group
thehill.com...

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is trying to force the Obama administration’s hand to label the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization.

Along with Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.), the presidential hopeful on Tuesday introduced legislation calling on the Obama administration to designate the Islamist political group as a foreign terrorist organization.

The bill, called the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act, comes after a string of evidence suggesting the group supports terrorism, Cruz said, and after similar moves from a handful of foreign countries in recent years.

“As this bill details, the Brotherhood’s stated goal is to wage violent jihad against its enemies, and our legislation is a reality check that the United States is on that list as well,” Cruz said in a statement Wednesday.

The Obama administration has listed multiple members of the group on its terror list, thereby imposing special restrictions preventing Americans from dealing with them.

“Now we can reject the fantasy that their parent institution is a political entity that is somehow separate from these violent activities,” Cruz added.

They were obviously part of a network.

Why would would they bother smashing their phones and hard drives if not to protect links to their co -conspirators.

So we should label groups as terrorist because Saudi Arabia the nation that backs the most terrorist groups like ISIS calls them terrorist? The MB is not a militant group they try to gain power through politics not violence.

The Muslim Brotherhood and Terrorist Organizations

◾"[T]he organization of the Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization, and anyone who asks either to reconcile with them, to join them or to ally with them is himself a terrorist." — Refaat Saïd, leader of Egypt's Socialist party, al-Tagammu', and previously close friend of former Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide, Mahdi Akef.

◾It should come as no surprise, then, that the motto of Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis is also the verse singled out by Hassan al Banna: "Fight them until there is no fitnah [discord], and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah." [Qur'an, Sura VIII, verse 39]

◾The link between the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas is clear, and confirmed by Article 2 of the Charter of Hamas, which reads: "The Islamic Resistance movement is one of the wings of the Muslim Brothers in Palestine".

Egypt has told the US for years that ISIS is a branch of the Muslim brotherhood but US has been ignoring this for years also.
